December 7, 201114 yr The new Roots' album Undun is on constantly in my place, a masterpiece, definitely album of the year (probably next year too) beating PJ Harvey by a deep short head.
December 7, 201114 yr Dan - how does Florida = snow? Question for everyone else: I am helping some friends plan their wedding reception and they wanted some good slow dance songs. They'd prefer modern stuff (think "Endlessly" by Duffy) but are open to suggestions. A lot of the stuff we've been going through is Adele, Duffy, Winehouse, etc., so I was wondering if anyone had thoughts about some other songs.

December 15, 201114 yr This has probably been covered but I have recently given Kasabian's new album a listen, and it is utterly excellent. Entirely different from the banality you hear regularly. Love the Roots album as well Tim W. Haven't heard PJ's but she is an old favourite of mine. Also has anyone given TV on the Radio's new album a listen from earlier in the year? Top quality stuff, especially given the loss of a bandmate this year.
