jose still loves us and we love him!

Featured Replies

as much as i loved him when he was here and respect what he did for the club, we really do not need him back.

I left it so long because I didn't want to be a factor in disturbing things here. They seemed to be changing coaches every three months and I did not like that and I did not want to be seen to be interfering or causing problems.
This, apart from Nicolas Anelka and Branislav Ivanovic, is still my team - and they all mean an awful lot to me.

He loves us and we still love him, but most importantly Jose still loves himself.

I really love Jose from the time he was with us and he will always have a 'special' place in our history.

But I don't think it would be the same second time around..

The ghost of Jose will not be laid to rest until another manager wins Chelsea the title, we've had Grant, Scolari, Wilkins (for 1 game), Hiddink and now Ancelotti since Jose and none have managed to do it,.... YET. I hope it's Carlo's year, but only one man has managed to win the league in his 1st season in the PL, and that man was Jose.

He's a hard act to follow, and it's a shame we sacked him instead of backing him, the way Utd and Liverpool have backed Sir Alex and the clown Benetiz!

I wonder how much he'll still be loved when he's warming Sir Alex's chair in a couple of years time?

this is what i was getting at in another thread just now when i said people were scared the managerial merry go round would continue if ancelloti doesn't prove himself to be the right man for the job. the club desperately needs stability AND success. you can't blame the players or the manager for the owners shortsightedness.

For him to win the title with any other club in England would be gutting, especially if we haven't won the title between now and when he goes to another club, whoever it maybe!!!!!

Winning the league he proved you need 100% commitment in every single game, something we haven't had since he left.

Or in the last season he was here if were honest.

It's down to this man that we won two titles in recent memory (I applaud that) shame its down to him that nobody has the pacience to give any other manager a chance to give us more of the same.

I am 99.9% certain that if Hiddink had been in charge for a full season, he would have led us to premiership glory.

1 defeat in all his time he was with us is a record even Jose would struggle to achieve.

but he didn't and we never.

For the record, he'd have been my first choice for full time manager but alas, it wasn't to be.

Ideally I would have loved Hiddink to stay, not just because his record with us was good but more for the stability this club so badly needs, I wouldn't swap him now for Ancelotti for exactly that reason.

We are a laughing stock to other teams fans with our merry go round of managers and normally that wouldn't matter a toss but when we are top of the league having beaten the rest of the top four and people are already on the managers back it really does give credit to their argument.

not only that Hiddink let us lose to Spurs...funny Grant was never forgiven for that?

It was great to see him at the Bridge on Saturday.

We should never have sacked him, but that's in the past now and there is no going back.

We desperately need stability now and so we have to stick with Ancelotti whatever the outcome this season.

If we haven't won the league or CL after 3 seasons then it will time for a rethink.

As for Mourinho, if he comes back to the PL it will be with Utd. He obviously didn't want the City job.

why the hostility? jose is still the best manager we ever had...people argued anyone could win the league with chelsea's money and players, yet he is the only one to do it...and he did it twice...would have done it a third time but for severe injuries...whether you liked his methods or not, he is still the most successful manager we've ever had and deserves to be treated with some respect

I really dont give a f**k about the politics or about who he now manages , drunk or sober , and im f***ing pissed tonight , nothing will ever change my opinion on Jose. All my life i waited on a man who could turn us into champions Jose did it , money yeah but that result at Bolton is the BIGGEST moment of my life as a CFC fan. Im pissed drunk tonigt , and in a Jose moment i dont think Guus should be mentioned.

Yes , any excuse to have a Jose night is cool by me , drunk as f**k but lovin it.

Ianoooooooooooooo.

its just a hunch but have you been drinking tonight ,wish i had been .! "jose mourinho jose mourinho"

I wonder how many more trophies would be sitting in the chelsea cabinet had the club fully backed jose and just left him alone to run the team his way?

I was applauding the special 1 against Fulham but stopped short of singing his name out of respect for Carlo.

I totally agree that we need stability but then again if we'd have had a bit of stability when Jose was here he'd still be the manager and we'd have alot more trophies to boot.

He should have been our manager for 10yrs, thats the reason we went and got the 'best young manager in the world' was'nt it?

The club fu*ked it up so lets hope they at least learn from there mistakes and give Carlo the time he needs to make the team his own. He has'nt been able to sign 1 player yet(Zhirkov was recommended by Hiddink, the deal being down before Carl came. Sturridge, Turnball...yeah right). And although we have struggled a bit of late we are still in a great position both at home and in Europe.

The thought of Jose managing 1 of our rivals though is gutting, but the club only has themselves to blame.

Jose will always be welcomed with open arms at the bridge.

Liam sees Jose as a slightly up market version of Phil Brown.
