I would like the club to appreciate the fact that the recession has hit hard and decide not to launch a new strip. Pigs would fly.

I want umbro back !

Took a look at my Umbro shirt from 2004-2005 with Kezman on it and I thought it looked much much better then then new ones.

Just hope we dont take any style tips from the Everton camp, that black and pink away effort of theirs would look more at home in the Blue Oyster Bar

It really does appear that I am the only one in the world who actually like that one. :P

I hate our current home kit. Liked last year's much better. However, I love our current away/3rd kits.

The 76/77 season jersey would be a welcome return .

I heard it would be 9 kits next season PL H & A; CL H & A; FA CUP H & A; CC H & A and then one other in case any of the aforementioned still clash.

Love to see a modern adaption of the clive walkeresque one and the orange and grey away...the latest home is awful...nice if you like bikes.

My favourite kit is the home strip from '96-'98. And I would also like to see "COORS" back as sponsor :D

We look so menacing in it!

Bring back the home and away kits from the 1969/70-ish era, we looked absolute class. Add to that the Embassy Regal kit as third choice, and I'd be very happy!

I'd prefer us to go back to Umbro, though with the new 'global brand', that isn't going to happen. Mind you, looking at the latest England home, it might be as well to stick with Adidas. I've bought a shirt most seasons since the 80's and by far my favourite was the centenary kit.

I'd imagine our new kit for next season not differing much from the latest one.

I have to agree. I hate the yellow shirt from last season too. But it still better then the cursed away-shirt of this seaon. And we won the FA-Cup in those yellow shirts ;)

Cant agree with you there Maks. GB had it right on when he said we need Umbro back.

The umbro kits can be summed up by one maxim: beauty in simplicity. There was nothing outlandish about them and thats what made them great. I look at City's current kit, with the simple design, layout and classic look and I get very jealous.

Even on some of the more out there Umbro designs, like the England a few years ago with the blue epaulets around the shoulder, they still beat the pants off most of the stuff Adidas has been producing.

For me, our best kits recently were the all black and the yellow/blue from last years FA Cup (one of the best we've had imo). I liked the first home adidas kit from 2006, and the corresponding white one that is similar, but outside of those (and this year's third) they have been really disappointing imo. Moreso given the fact that Adidas have alot of classic looking templates used by other teams, but we just dont get them.

Lozzer, you have a point re: the bad economy. Every kit used to have a shelf life of 2 years. What ever happened to that? What is the constant need to gouge the supporters? Personally, I end up waiting until the previous years goes on sale to buy it, as I cant afford $80-100 on a new kit when I have so many old ones

Agreed, that was utterly horrible, and I barely bring myself to look at it, let alone buy it.

I really dislike any kit in which there is a need to change the colors on the badge. I dont see why it cant be just left as the usual blue/white/yellow/red, but intstead has to "match" the colorscheme of the shirt
