The next bands you are going to see?

Featured Replies

Simply Red and Lisa Stanfield end of July. Squeeze in October.

Was due to see Crowded House in Barcelona but have had to duck out. Will watch them at Glastonbury instead.

The Chantel McGregor Band in a couple of weeks time. Playing at a club not far from where I live. Chantel is a fine blues guitarist.

Squeeze on Friday night in Cambridge. Very, very good. A few fillers but mostly solid Gold.

Nice!

I’ve got Kaiser Chiefs at the O2 on Saturday supported by The Fratellis and The Sherlocks.

Mike Batt (you know, The Wombles bloke) at some point during the month then some Meatloaf tribute at the end of the month.

Seen the KCs before munkie. Always put on a lively show. As for the Fratellis worth going just for Chelsea Dagger.

I saw The Fratellis not too long ago and they were brilliant (the weird Celtic supporting band that were with them not so much).

Last week was the second time I have been to a Squeeze gig munkie. Excellent both times. The audience was mostly of a certain age as you would imagine! Tilbrook's voice is still great but what many don't realise is that he is also a hugely talented guitarist.

One band I would recommend is Razorlight if you get a chance to see them. Saw them at a small festival pre-Covid and they were banging.

Went to see Bad Manners a couple of weeks ago, great craic and seen Paul Heaton on Friday. Unfortunately Jacqui Abbott wasn't there.

Going to see Depeche Mode in June, and might get over to see Deacon Blue in September.

Going to see The Killers tomorrow at the O2. Yes, the day England play Holland in the euro semi-final. Fate kicks me in the balls again. It's happened to me once before. Took me mum to see Frank Sinatra at the old docklands arena in 1990. The day England played West Germany in the World Cup semi-final.

Going to see the Chantel McGregor Ban on 26 January. Should be a good gig. Hopefully will be the end of a great day as will be at the Bridge earlier to see Chelsea Women v Arsenal Women.

Can't beat the Blues. My favourite style of music and of course Chelsea and Rangers play in blue. A wonderful colour.

I’m off to see Paul Heaton with Rianne Downey in Belfast in just over a week.

Later on this year I’ve The Sawdoctors, Oasis and Sultans of Ping. Will surely get some more in as well.

The only one of their's I know is "Where's me jumper.....................?"

Classic!!
