I have no problem taking critisim from the press when we deserve it , but reading this bitter slime ball today really got to me . Daily Mirror today and he starts throwing personal insults at Frank Lampard, i wont go into other details but he tore us apart with a huge snigger and his comments towards Frank Lampard were the worst ive read , ever . Total c**t .

Yeah because that wasn't Frank who has scored numerous important Champions League goals against the likes of Barcelona, Liverpool and even our goal in Moscow. Maybe I imagined his goals at Bolton in 2005, or his goal at Anfield last season. 2009 FA Cup winning goal. I could go on forever.

If he's a Scouser then I guess he deserves plaudits for managing to learn how to read and write. Even if his standard of literacy is only Daily Mirror standard.

Even though i doubt Frank reads this sh#t it can only spur him and the rest of the squad to put in a serious performance tonight. A return to Joses us against the world mentality.

Did anyone hear the rumour this Derek Mcgovern was caught snorting coke with two rent boys in Hampstead heath? Working for the very people that break stories like this to the nation, I guess he was safe.

I used to play football in the same side as Del McGovern, Trafalgar FC in the Morden & District Sunday League and to be truthful he is a top bloke, when not pretending to be a reporter. He used to be on the Racing Post and knew his stuff.

He is however a massive Liverpool fan so for that reason I totally agree with the final sentence of the lead post. His Mirror column is a MASSIVE comedown for him.

Hence his comments about the Chelsea bench and the not exactly reaching comment about Frank's weight (which I've never got, he seems one of the fittest players in the PL.) Frank Lampard will always be slagged off by these people, even when he retires .
