How's about Kakutas loan to Fulham ?

Someone F`ed this up badly, not even bringing him on when 3-0 up at home shows they will not use him at all. We should take him back and either send him to a team that will play him or keep him.

I know we've extended his contract, but I can't help but feel he'll be disaffected with England soon and take off to France in the summer

im dissapointed at mark hughes, i felt he'd be the sort of guy that would help kakuta really push on as a first team player...obviously not :/

Is it just me though or has our season kick started a little after ditching our youth (kakuta/sturrige etc) .

I personally like them but they didnt seem to help the team win matches

Well to be fair to Hughes, it isn't his job to develop our young players. If he doesn't feel Kakuta is better than what he has already then he's obviously not going to play him.

Its hard to win matches without being on the pitch.

Most of the time they were thrown in with 5 minutes to go, while were playing badly and losing

he should have gone to a top championship club on the condition he played regularly...hughes is under pressure to keep fulham up so is not going to take a gamble on a young unproven player...it does raise the question why he wanted him in the first place though

Totally agree. Most Championship teams would have jumped at the chance to have him on loan. I know Fulham have had injuries this season and Kakuta might have got more games if they still had a lot of injuries, but I think they have most their squad available now and lets face it, Kakuta is a bit of a luxury type player.

As far as we are concerned, Kakuta has clearly not progressed any where near as much as we were expecting him too. Hard for the lad I know when he's not getting games but in training and playing for the reserves, he obviously hasn't been doing well enough.

Agreed. That's where Wilshere was last season, right? If we're not going to give him many minutes next year (and I obviously hope we do) we should send Josh there.
