A 1921 programme how fascinating. How about posting something more recent and relevant ?

All that space behind the temporary stand, we could of had a huge single tiered shed end, But no, we built a poxy hotel there instead. "Come on Roman knock that hotel down and lets have a huge shed end"? No need for the full ground re development and moving to Wembley for four years, a new shed is all we ask (no away fans either in there)

The view from the East Stand was roughly where I sat for my first ever game all those years ago, and remember looking in that direction most of the game, transfixed by the shed.

Agree about the hotel and I guess now the merchandise shop would need to be relocated and sure this could be done too.

I just like the history of our club and the early programme covers, are to me, a rich source of our history.

programme cover for Newcastle United v Chelsea, Saturday, 11th Sep 1982Sat 11th Sep 1982 A 1-1 draw in front of 29,084. Colin Lee scored our goal in the 23rd min.

Newcastle had their new signing Kevin Keegan playing for them. To be fair, Keegan was a great signing for them.
