Seeing the same pictures all the time and your usual apologies is getting boring @erskblue post something that we haven't seen before. What I think and you should collate it is have all FA Cup 1970, ECWC 71, 1983-84 and the Full Members on a separate thread otherwise it's the same pictures all the time. I don't want to be grumpy but I like to see and I don't know about anyone else stuff I haven't seen before and stories that gets a conversation going random pictures of Steve Kember doesn't do it for me I'm afraid.

That's true but there's only about 10 regulars on here and that's why I said to start a new thread with photos from all big moments from the past 1970 etc. If the same pictures keep coming up it's a bit monotonous but anything that era that hasn't been posted then great like I said new stuff gets stories being told and memories refreshed.
May 19, 20233 yr Talking of which the Johhny Boyle picture is a great insight into what late1960s kids used to wear A hint of sub skin/mod probably hand me downs and the dreaded home knit. All available in a choice of colours

Yeah fair enough. That’s why I started the ‘Chelsea v West Brom 1905 Thread’ for the older pictures and articles. That threads timeline is up until about 1939. I’ve already done three complete seasons threads for 1983/84,1984/85 and 1985/86 and the 1970 FA Cup Thread. I accept there are only about ten regulars on this thread and accept repeat photos can be boring I too like to see new pics and will be much more selective about what I post. Now,where’s that new Steve Kember picture…😀 Edited May 19, 20233 yr by erskblue
May 20, 20233 yr Found some pictures of our 1929 Tour of Argentina. Don’t know if they are worth posting on here? Or would they be considered too old? Genuinely not sure.

Personally zero interest for me but of course I'm not speaking for everyone on this thread. What I like is when the likes of @Fruit Bat, @The Rising Sun @Richard P @zinc alloy @Boyne etc post stories about games they have gone to or stories they have up their sleeve and then we interact with each other and a conversation starts. I can post a picture of Fatty Foulkes but I'd much rather post and hear about Grimsby 84 or the cup run of 82 etc.

Its an easy thread to forget, even for me.😀 I understand if people aren’t that interested in seeing older photos and articles. I’ve always liked history, it was by far and away my favourite academic subject, even in Primary School. That was the reason I started the ‘Chelsea v West Brom 1905 Thread’ and it kind of developed into a ‘Chelsea Pre World War Two ‘Thread. It leaves the way for others to post and to discuss the more recent club history. Which I also enjoy. Bit of a ramble that😀 Edited May 22, 20233 yr by erskblue
