Wonder where Clive Walker was in this picture?

Choppers last season. Micky Droy, Tommy Langley ian Briton, and Johnny B had a couple of good players.

That was my first kit. A proper kit

Same here, first kit, Nike should take note of some of the kit designs of yesteryear.

Agree he played a couple of years in America during the close season

Looks like Clive played for Fort Lauderdale Strikers in summer 1979. Turned out for them 22 times, scoring 9 goals.

Quite a few British (and European players) played in USA  North American Soccer League  from mid 70s - mid 80s.

Image result for clive walker Clive Walker v Liverpool, (Alan Hansen) FA Cup at The Bridge, 1982, We won.

Great memories thank you.

Long time ago now.

Was at the dippers and the following round spuds game.

If I remember crowds of 40000 + but didn't we have 6000 for a game in between at home.

Beating Derby County 5-0 at home in August 83.

The start of that season !

Notice one of the Derby players, the one in the middle of the goal, is wearing Patrick boots.

These boots were made 'famous' by Kevin Keegan when he wore them from 1977.

Unless it was really early I don’t remember them being anywhere in the Shed that night. I was by the Whitewall too.

Certainly before kick off. As I said I couldn’t really see a lot.

1980 they were by the tea bar surrounded by Chelsea and OB. Watched it from the East Stand with me old man

Edit: 77/78 was their most convincing taking of the Shed and they never really did it again surprisingly

Was at all three and probably did my homework at school the following morning!
