Perhaps in the warm up ? 1973 ish Remember that picture from 70's, I had a red football shirt for PE at school and had the blue Chelsea shorts with Umbro diamonds down the side with my white socks and yellow Bonetti Gloves I would love going down park or nan and grandads house with their large garden to play football.

I had been going to the bridge for 25 years and this was the first time I'd got off at West Brompton as FB station was shut. None of us knew the way ha ha luckily we saw a few people at the bottom of the road where the school is and followed them.

Empty seats in the background, fast forward 35 years & despite their successes, they never seem to have a full house, when watching highlights on MOTD?. Could understand it if it held 80,000, but 54,000 imo isn't a mega amount to fill each home game. Even West Ham draw in more than them, & when did they last win anything......???

I remember it was an irritating, annoying game because we should have won. Brilliant save by Bonetti from their penalty.
