Steve Finnieston doing the obligatory "looking out the car window" pic - not sure if it's a Ford Escort?

Yep, mk1, 3 door.

Wish I still had mine, they are selling for big money now just to fit out as Mexico replicas

Looks like Billy Bremner about to tackle Ossie. Bremner was a dirty player but then so was the rest of the Leeds team at the time.

I thought so but wasn't sure. The strip Bremner was wearing confused me.

Yeah that Leeds side was dirty, mind you they met their match in the 1970 FA Cup Final v us.:Connie_threaten:

No this is 1980 we won 2-1 and Ian Britton scores from the free kick. Really weird ground the valley then a bit like the bridge in some respects it had a massive open end to the right of the away end. We took the place over even running Charlton out of their end and presumably out of the ground because all that was left in the home end was a couple of hundred Chelsea. I've still got the programme.

Very true, they certainly met their match. Arguably the worst moment in the game was when Bremner head-butted Eddie's foot and then rolled around on the ground. Eddie, meanwhile, just carried on playing.

Image result for ian britton chelsea fc Peter Osgood in action. The player about to 'tackle' Ossie, looks as if he is doing the Long Jump !

Billy Bremner could have been a Chelsea player.

According to Wikipedia he came down for trials with us and Arsenal in 59, was offered terms by both, didn’t fancy London and signed for Leeds.

10 stone of barbed wire he was described as.

Cheers, I never knew that ! Seriously !!

Tommy Docherty I reckon would have a great manager for Billy Bremner if Bremner had signed for us.

Eddie Mac, 'Chopper' Harris and Billy Bremner in the same team !:Connie_threaten:

I think that’s the Stretford  End.  Eddie Macs wearing yellow socks so must be the replay.

Yeah so it is. Cheers.

Too much of a roof for it to be the Shed End.
