There excellent pics Shatner, thanks for posting them up, there just the sort of pics i love, any chance there's more out there to see, its better than porn to me

That West Brom pic though, it doesnt look like the Hawthorns to me? i'm sure its Villa park as the away end at WBA didnt have an upper tier as this clip shows.

Also i think the Everton game is mid 80s going by the mullets on show lol!

Looks like you're right with the Villa Park/Hawthorns mix up.

The Everton pic, I thought was from our 1st season back in Div 1 in 89/90. We won that day to go top. Graham Roberts scored (I think), loads of Rangers in our end as well. The fashions on display are more mid 80's though, mullets and Campri ski jackets.

I'll try and get some more pictures up later today.

Glad you like them

Great stuff mate thanks a lot,

I think your right about that Everton game, i went to Goodison Park for 3/4 years on the trot from 1990 up to about 94 incl a league cup tie, & everytime bar once i hung my big st george cross over the wall from the seats which had Chelsea Sutton on it(the other time i hung my union jack, so i'm sure the pic is from the season before, it was Steve Clarke who got our winner to send us top.

Looking forward to seeing more pics.

Here's a few I 'borrowed' off a friend of a friend on Facebook.

Credit to him for the pics. There's lots more which I'll stick up when I have time.

Man City away 1989, 8000 Chelsea and a wonder goal from Dorigo

a>

I was one of those out in the open terrace, f**king soaked.

Pre season friendly at Bristol City 1984. Chelsea fans evacuating the Dolman Stand.

Bit of a dodgy CEGB jacket in the foreground

[url=

Used to love the design of that stand at Ashton Gate, only went there once in the cup, got soaked, we lost(as usual to a lower league side) 20 odd CFC in suits kicked it off in the City main stand, end of the game Chelsea attacked the gates & broke through an exit to get out & ran the ob with "Ashton no gates" being chanted lol! those were the days.

Pic of our support from that cup game,

West Ham 1984/85 season, looking towards a packed shed from The Benches

a>

Love this pic of our shed terrace, our modern version comes no where near it, all seated, lower tier far too small for a traditional home end & not to mention it being desecrated by away fans every other week

Itd never happen in the Kop/Stretford End ect

Wonder what our JCL fans woud make of sitting on the old concrete damp steps in the benches lol!

Those damp old benches probably introduced a generation to the joy of haemorrhoids,(not that I would know!),

f**k me, thats a memory I though I had suppressed. My dad bought me one of those ski hats as a kid and made me wear it every bloody where. The sh*t I took over it, you wouldnt believe.
