June 1, 201115 yr "Villa Villa run Villa run from Chelsea" I was there! Remebmer it so well. A lot of people were in beach fancy dress too. I remember seeing the crossbar go down about 5 yards from me only to join in a conga line that had started! I recall someone asking me to take photo of them leaning back on the broken crossbar, how id love to see that now! Villa running was hilarious too. Last game of the season 1991 i think ? Score was 2-2, we were 2 up after about 3 mins! f**k me, i was 16. :( Edited June 1, 201115 yr by bjd

June 1, 201115 yr just listen to our 10 men went to mo!!! it looks like a home video but it just shows what a sh*te hole three points lanes was ( and still is) http://www.youtube.com/user/razer4660#p/u/28/f9Vf3l1x0hE it's part two of chelsea away at sp*rs 86-87 if the link doesn't get you to the right match
June 1, 201115 yr QPR v Chelsea 87/88 Chelsea attacking the loft after the game. That was so funny, we were sitting just where the photo was taken and I've never seen an end clear as fast down the exit. There were Chelsea fans hanging onto the upper tier of the Loft scrapping with the couple of Rangers who remained.
June 2, 201115 yr Great pics of the Leeds game, interesting to see what our mob looked like from the Leeds end! I've just spent a while trying to see myself in those pics, but couldn't manage it - I ran on from Gate 13 and was stood by the East side goal where one of the coppers stopped us from getting to the North Stand end. I didn't mind in the end though, the copper told us we'd like what we'd see if we waited, and a few minutes later the SPG steamed into the Leeds fans, absolutely battered 'em! Great day! Good to see Chelsea at Derby too, went there a few times, we always went in the Pop Side.

July 3, 201114 yr Chelsea at Grimsby 1984 The most I've ever seen before a game at a Chelsea away game in my life. The wall went shortly after Kerry headed the winner if I remember correctly, Sheff Wed slipped up at Cardiff and we were champions .... Been trying to catch a video of this game for ages ....
July 3, 201114 yr Chelsea at Derby Remember going up there shortly after Milllwall tore the plastic seats out at Luton. We were in the terraces below and Chels' tore out the seats above and missed the pitch by 'kin miles!

Yeah i'd love to see tv footage of that Grimsby game, it must have been filmed somewhere, you'd think a London news channel for example would have a snippet, but i've never seen it anywhere.
July 3, 201114 yr Yeah i'd love to see tv footage of that Grimsby game, it must have been filmed somewhere, you'd think a London news channel for example would have a snippet, but i've never seen it anywhere. that grimsby town v chelsea game, despite the massive following for chelsea that day me and a couple of mates from donny with a handfull of 'chelsea vampires' who were all from hull (no idea where their vampires came from) took a rite kicking on cleethorpes station after the game. well it must have been well after the game as we was the chelsea still about and the grimsby lads were not very forgiving.

Was with SR and two others coming round the corner when about 60 of them charged us. SR said stand and probably in the knowledge that loads of Chelsea were about 50 yards behind us I did. They stopped 2 yards in front of us and I copped some (watered down) amonia in the eye. We then chased after them and every time a copper grabbed me i told them the amonia part of the story and they let me carry on "which one was it lad?" . Never caught up with the c*nts!

August 2, 201114 yr This is a great thread. I was a tad young as I started going with my dad in the 82/83 season when I was 7, so some of this is before my time and I was certainly a bit young to be in the thick of it. I especially like those pics from Villa as I remember that very well. I was recalling this game at Walsall in 89 when we thumped them 7-0. If I recall correctly, we sold out our small allocation and were told no entry on the day. But when faced with an extra few thousand Chelsea with nothing else to do but wander down Walsall high street they let everyone in. I’m sure we made up most of the 7000 at the game. I don't really think that the footage does the size of following there that day justice.
August 4, 201114 yr The Shot of the Day on the official site is usually worth a look. Today's picture was taken on May 7th 1956, just a few months before I was born:
