Thank heavens this crest never caught on. The Millwall lion was bad enough, but not as bad as this generic design.

Must be an old photo, didn't even have leaves on trees back then.

I've finally got around to scanning some more from my collection. Here are a few probably never seen before as a tribute to our late manager Dave Sexton.

I'm not sure where this is from as there's all sorts of scribbles and crossing out on the back but my bet is when he was at Orient for a short while in 1965.

Last one of Dave Sexton, Sexton & Osgood at an FA Tribunal along with Forest manager Matt Gilles who gave independent evidence after being at the game against Derby where Ossie picked up his third booking. A suspended two week suspension and a £50 was the result and made him available to play against Watford in the FA Cup Semi at WHL. 9th March 1970.

Away game action. Another from the Palace game in January 1971. The snow has thawed out and that Palace defender on the left is still wearing his bumper boots as Osgood scores Chelsea's first.

The second photo is Johnny Boyle from the same match.

John Dempsey clears at West Ham in a 2-1 defeat on September 11th 1971. Johnny Boyle and John Hollins watch along with Bryan 'Pop' Robson of West'am.

I was tempted to burn this one. Martin Chivers scores past John Phillips at WHL in March 1971 with Martin Peters watching. Eddie MacCreadie and Johnny Boyle look away from Chivers pathetic attempt at a celebration and Spurs won 2-1 as if we really care.

Last away one, especially for Bluebeard and Carshalton Blue. Osgood in pre-season action against Sutton United at Gander Green Lane in August 1970. Paddy Mulligan looks like a yeti in the background.

Finally a few portraits.

New signing from Bristol City, Chris Garland 1st September 1971. Long before Movember had ever been trendy but a stupid looking 'tache non the less.

Then Keith Weller in that fine shirt.

Charlie Cooke at London Airport, that's Heathrow these days kids. April 1966.

Finally a fantastic one of Ron Harris 18th August 1966.

Terry Venables with physio or trainer as they were called in those days, Harry Medhurst, 23rd March 1965.

Not so sure Tel trusts Harry, from the look on Tel's face and where Harry's hand is!
