Ken appealing to fans about something,  and Chelsea's  top hooligan attempts to scale the fence.

Seeing the bottom picture reminded me of a discussion I had with someone in my local pub a few months ago. His father owned the company which was asked by Ken to electrify the fence. Ken was asked by the owner if it was legal Ken said, go ahead and do it. As we know, the Council didn't allow the fence to be electrified.

In the top picture, Ken is saying: "Give me a C."

In the ariel pic the West terrace looks a lot bigger than in the other picture. The Arial shot used to be on the front of the programme.

I always wondered if they lopped a bit off the top , never found any evidence that they did, perhaps the angle of the snow picture makes it look not as high.  Funny what goes thru your mind on lockdown !

Looks like the terrace was made smaller in order to accommodate the floodlight pylon, could also be in preparation for building the West stand, depending on when the picture was taken.

I was thinking that may be the case when I first saw it, it's definitely Highbury.

And thanks for the birthday greetings mate. 60 not out, unless Corona stops play.

It was like that in the early sixties, must have lopped it off earlier I suppose.. They just remodelled the terracing for the new stand.
