Indeed. Suspect that some of the stuff fell apart after one wash.

What I dislike most about it was the badge on some of the stuff, no F between the two Cs.

27th August 1960: Wolves keeper Geoff Sidebottom in action at The Bridge

A 3-3 draw, with Jimmy Greaves scoring all our 3.

He scored a hat-trick in other words.

41,681 was the official crowd.

Loved the picture of the guy in red braces in the middle of the shed and the two with glasses at the front.

the red braces guy reminded me of a Chelsea fan of old. His name was Bill. Every game hed have his back to the game "gassing to yer". He was a skin from the late 60s early 70s. Always wore sta prest black doctor martins and fred perry even in the late 70s early 80s  and even when it was freezing, though his hair and beard had grown. Does anyone know what happened to him ? he was from like alot of us north east hampshire.

the two with the glasses........just has to be undercover Fulham old bill. Not that we would ever guess ?

Happy days.

sorry have not reposted picture as i do not have a clue how to do it.

blue is the Colour.

Pretty poor turnout that day. Who were we playing?

Remember backbiter, we had no fans pre Roman, so that was a pretty usual crowd for us back in the day!!! All those old newspaper clippings on here with our attendances being 40/50 and 60k  must of all been misprints, they must of been 4/5 and 6k crowds!! "Where were we when we were sh*t"

Is this The (Old) Den?

I think it is. On the building in the top right corner it looks like the sign reads join Millwall.

Top Picture: Chelsea Card from the 1930s.

Tommy Law top right, played just two games for Scotland. Both at Wembley !

In 1928 when Scotland won 5-1. Then again in 1930, when England won 5-2.

He was a left back signed for £10 in 1925.

Played 292 times for us between 1925-1939, scoring 15 goals.

Chelsea Trivia I know...

Bottom Pic Chelsea’s Andy Wilson has a quick cig before a game !
