A good day out at Millwall is not possible under any circumstances!. I thought it was Millwall but got to the stage where I was thinking it was someone else. Millwall did an open day at my local park about 1980 my mate who's a massive Chelsea fan got a top from them he wore it to football training for the next couple of years and I'm pretty sure it's the top in the picture. Millwall played a pre season friendly against Tunbridge Wells in the early 80s which made the papers due to fighting with local Chelsea fans ( SH and Co) People talk about the Sunderland and Boro disorder at home, but the most fighting I’ve seen around the ground was definately Millwall in 95, which carried on all the way to Whitechapel High St at 11.30 at night
July 3, 20206 yr Looks like the platform was used as a car park. The other picture is the outside of the Chelsea and Fulham station, Lots Road power station in the background

When we got there West Ham were gone and I don't know how many they had there but this Chelsea firm looked liked they would have taken some stopping they were all lumps every single one of them.

July 4, 20206 yr The old East stand under construction. Not sure what that white shaped thing to the right is though. Those buildings have been there forever.
July 4, 20206 yr Probably been on here before, but nice pic anyway. That area around the gasometer would have been ideal for a new stadium, it was a massive site.
