Both of these gentlemen, made their respective Chelsea debuts on 7th Feb 1959 v West Ham at The Bridge.

Both scored in a 3-2 win in front of a crowd of 52,968.

A Happy Birthday to this guy who is 63 today.

Footballer's taste in music and telly in the 80's was always terrible if it wasn't Phil Collins it would be U2 but Speedie Barbara Dickson and Emmerdale Farm😂 .  Not hard to see why him and Pat Nevin didn't get on I've heard him interviewed he makes Geoff Boycott sound like Stephen Fry.

This ones a little bit out of left field . In the spring of 1975 the marching band from the University of Missouri (Mizzou) made a visit to London. In the fall of that year at a home football (American) game they played a tribute to Chelsea FC.

I've seen it before there's a video about of Japanese kids I think it is singing blue is the colour I'll try and find it.

Different version to one I saw not sure of the team over to you Ersk 😆

Chris Mears took this photo on the coach 1977 NYE.  John Sparrow next to him my mate was a milkman for a while in the mid 80's John Sparrow was at his induction 85 or 86 I think.

I'd love that to go with my Pinnace cards, all of those players feature in that set too, one of two possibly cropped from the photo above.

John Sparrow became a B T engineer after football
