Speaking of the un-dead, i see that Resident Evil has just launched a new RE7 that is seemingly back to the more "survival" stlye of horror game.

He wrote and directed all of the Metal Gear Solid games.

He was due to do a reboot of Silent Hill working in partnership with director Guillermo Del Teloro (Pans Labyrinth, Hell Boy, Pacific Rim) but the developer Konami started acting really sh*tty and cancelled everything for no apparent reason.

So now he's (Kojima) set up his own studio and it looks set to give him even more creative license than ever which may or may not be a good thing because artistically he's about as far out there as they come.

Sounds totally bonkers.  Like it has that chance of being either really good, or terrible.

Anyone played the new Resident Evil game? Used to love them but didn't play the last few. If this ones any good i might invest tonight and binge it all weekend. 

Just had my beta code come through for Ghost Recon Wildlands and it's downloading now. I've been excited for this game since it was announced. A couple of months till release, hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

Picked up Nioh yesterday. 

Played the beta and enjoyed it enough to get it. Very Dark Souls style game, I enjoy the challenge. So far so good, combat is really tricky. 

 

 

On a side note, I went back to The Division recently, I only needed 3 more trophies for the platinum. Basically I am stuck getting the 20 rogue kills in the dark zone. If anyone is willing to volunteer to let me kill them 12 times I'd really appreciate it! 

Went ahead and bought Resident Evil. Played about an hour and i must say its the most sh*t scary game i've played. Constantly on the edge of my seat playing.

- Zero Horizon Dawn

- Hitman (disc version)

- Sniper 4

- Watchdogs 2 (still need to play)

- New Battlefield 4 maps

Watch Dogs 2. So much content and such a fun game!

Horizon Zero Dawn looks astonishing, I want it!

Not played Battlefield since the update before christmas, seemed to nerf a lot of the guns and wasn't as enjoyable any more.

 

New RE is good though, would recommend if you like those type of games. 

I played through Deus Ex and Deus Ex Human Revolution again, other than that, mostly just Overwatch. Will play Deus Ex Mankind Divided when it eventually finishes downloading in about a month.

Had a blast playing Watch Dogs 2. Didn't have high expectations at first so I was quite surprised at how detailed the game was during my playthrough.

As for Horizon Zero Dawn, you PS4 owners are so lucky... The game is absolutely gorgeous. Oh well, I don't think they will make a PC port in the near future...

I just loved doing all the Scout X stuff and going round the city like a proper tourist and taking the selfies! And of course, setting the police and gang members on each other.

New Mass Effect is out in 24 days. Not that I'm counting or anything :)

probably won't have the time for months to play it...

Anyone played Ghost Recon open BETA this weekend? 

Seems pretty decent and solid. However first impressions are that it's abit like the Division but re-skinned - typical Ubisoft. 

Seems like a solid stealth/action game though.

Yeah I have. The animations are similar to The Division but I think it's a completely different - and better - game. Looking forward to seeing the reviews for it and will probably pick it up shortly before it comes out.

I don't think so, available on Xbox backwards compatible and as part of EA Access.
