Is this bloke for real ?

That is very disappointing. I like Steven Cohen. He is the one that the scousers ran off FSC by threatening him and his children because of his views on Hyself and Hillsborough

It seems like he is a guest blogger, but still, he talks like a Barca fan. Still, Star, this guy is not some JCL type, he is very passionate and knowledgeable CFC lad. At least he came across as such on TV.

And sadly, when it comes to his opinions on JM and Madrid, I find myself in agreement. JM needs to take his punishment on this one, shut up, and come back to tell his team "you played well, and we will beat them you just have to keep believing". No more Pepe or Marcelo breaking legs. No more Ramos losing his temper, or Khedira picking up a cheap booking. Defend as a team, keep your cool, if an individual moment of brilliance results in a goal its not the end of the world because Madrid are just as capable of snapping their fingers and scoring.

Ijiot..

any way Jose is big time up against it... This season is either going to be a massive win or a masive lose.

This barca side is regarded by many (not me) as the best club team ever, so if he wins the league this year then he is the man who has done the impossible

How ever while most managers would be on a hiding to nothing and not winning the league wouldnt be that big a deal given the size of thet taks, Jose has stoked things up so much that I just cant see him getting away with failure.

really not a massive barca fan, there starting to smell like liverpool, devine right and all that bull. So I want real to do them this year but i do think Jose needs to tone it down a bit and thats as a huge fan of his

He is right about the great mourinho and the bad mourinho, would of loved to see him get a hard punch in the mouth, just for thinking he could get a cheapshot on that barca coach,he has become a bitter man fuelling this rivallry.

I agree also about JM and Madrid ( Even though he is using the old 'siege mentality' he had here ) He knows how to beat Barca' he has

done it here and at Inter. It's getting to the Special One in my opinion.

Being ran off by a few scousers myself in my time, also had my kids threatened at more than one ground, even at Wembley!

Cannot get anyone swopping teams, but after 43 years he is on another planet.

No Chelsea fan in my opinion.

I understand people that don't go to games etc. anymore, but to support Barca' makes him look an idiot!

Silly , silly man. It has worked and these two games have proven that Mourinho is indeed special. For Mourinho and Real, they will walk away from these two games knowing that they have caught Barcelona and have figured out the puzzle. I’m a Man United fan and hated the man when little Porto eliminated us from the CL and even more when for two years he made chelsea more special than United. And then when this genius did what he did at Inter and won the CL again (figuring out Barca along the way), I knew he was indeed GREAT. Well he is has done it again and as predicted, “Give me two years, with a team of my selecting and I will catch barca”. Job done–They won’t miss that many chances again. He has created the formula to stop barca and in fact outplay them. If you are a Chelsea fan than you couldn’t be concerned about tackles. Please get over it. Once and for all, this is a sport played by MEN and not boys looking for Daddy (refs) to protect them. We love Barca’s style but we are sick of little boy, cry baby BS. Viva Mourinho–you are a genius!!! And by the waym, Real where the more attractive team over both games—yes, they where!!!!!!

I’m not sure I understand what your trying to say. Jose Mourinho is the best coach in world football without doubt. The reason for this is that he takes players and makes them great players. Ronaldo broke records last year for the Pachichi, but the main reason he is so great is that he has clearly bridged the gap between the two clubs. Barcelona didn’t look like the club that has been claimed (falsely) the best team ever. Madrid got at them, and made them look very average, and that wouldn’t happen with anyone other than Jose in charge. Yes his tactics aren’t always the most angelic, but Barcelona would be the worlds best team ever if he was their manager. Mourinho made Chelsea the first english team to be the official number one team in the world (recorded over a 5 year period by UEFA) and he took Inter to a treble which hadn’t been achieved for 40+ years… He took a Porto side to the CL when everyone proclaimed that the Portuguese league was a 1 horse race and that it was an awful league. He single handedly has raised the bar in EVERY country that he has managed. England ruled European football whilst he was in charge (Ferguson showed what an incredible manager he is by raising Man Utd’s level) and even Wenger improved as a coach because he had to keep up. Mourinho made Italy improve itself, look at AC Milan and Inter, who are both better sides than before he was there. Spain is now at the pinnacle (but until Mourinho got there even with the superstars they have) Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd. and even CIty would have fancied their chances against them in the CL. I apologise, but to be honest you gave up on supporting a team that you did for 40 years, something I consider criminal considering that Chelsea are 100x the team you started to support, and this article has if anything made the point that Jose is in fact the best coach in the world (only SAF comes close due to the ability to raise his game, and the ability to revitalize teams over 25 years…)

I'd never heard of this guy but how can you stop supporting any team after 43 years? From what I just googled it seems his is upset that the club didn't support his views on Hillsborough but what did he expect? Very odd. I personally think that Liverpool's support seems to have got off scot free from acceptiing even a small portion of the blame but I would not expect any business or organisation to agree publicly with me.

And supporting Barca makes him look like a complete idiot. If I felt that strongly I might stop going and watching Chelsea but I could never support another team. Strange fella.

I was at Norwich, pre-Hillsborough, next to the wire fence at the Barclays End, we were jammed in, it was always going to happen somewhere.

I wrote to Norwich complaining, nothing was done, also Chelsea because we were getting stick for trouble when away clubs let thousands squash

in our end, Cambridge was another example when fans climbed floodlights and Stands to ease pressure in our end,

Nothing was done,

I still went and it's got nothing with Chelsea Football Team and the players that wear our blue shirt!

I'm sick of all the talk from the media and fans of Barca that Barcelona is the best of all time, Messi is the best of all time, they don't dive, Madrid/Chelsea/City/United/whoever has a big wallet are ruining football, they play the best form of the game and every other form is somehow inferior, that its bordering on criminal to attempt to neutralise them on the football pitch through the use of defensive tactics, etc.

Rijkaard's Barcelona was less c**ty, played better football and didn't have the holier than thou attitude as much as Guardiola's Barcelona. I was neutral towards Barcelona in the Rijkaard days but under Guardiola its almost impossible not to hate them and the glory hunting fans they attract such as this man.

Honestly, how can u stop supporting a club after 43 years? And then go and support Barcelona of all clubs?! What connection does he have with Barcelona? I think he is exactly what he knows he is- a twat jumping on the self ritcheous, up their own arse bandwagon that is Barcelona, they can keep him as far as I'm concerned....

I fired a few tweets into him yesterday, the guy is a total loser in my opinion!

He kept bleating on about how the club mistreated him, reading between the lines he

must have slaughtered Liverpool over Heysel and Hillsbrough, then received some sort

of death threats from friends and family of lost one's and asked Chelsea for assistance

and they shunned him.

Who wouldn't, if you come out with a view about a subject like that which obviously

attacked those involved who in their right mind would back you up!

He then came out with the daftest thing I have ever heard

Steven Cohen

@NeilCFCStar do you really believe that i simply woke up one day and decided to support Barcelona without some major calamity happening between me and CFC....do you really believe that.

This bit of his post ....

Call me a bandwagoner and I just do not care. Barcelona is my team now because at a time when football had lost its luster for me due to what happened with Chelsea I needed a team that would put a smile back on my face and let me love football again. Barcelona is that team and my only regret is not getting here sooner and not speaking Spanish. I want to learn all the chants and I want to sing and want to feel joy again from football.

This Barcelona team has done it for me. I smile again from football!

Well Mr Cohen,

What did Cech, Drogba, Lampard and co. actually say to you!

It's my last post on this subject, feel free to tweet the idiot, I will not anymore simply because

it's not my style to 'kick a man when he is obviously down - down to the point he can throw

away 43 years of his life over a statement of madness!

What's the point of Spanish football? It's going to always be Barcelona-Real Madrid for the next 5 or 6 years. It was alright back in the early 00s with Valencia and Depor giving the big 2 a run for their money, but there's no challengers whatsoever for those two.

No proper football fan could switch to another club just like that. The guy comes across as shallow and fickle and a bit bitter. If Real Madrid sweep all before them playing like the 1970 Brazil team this season I suppose he'll show up there next. And this sanctimonious 'Barca are god's gift to football' attitude is tiresome. Here's another good response to that blog:

Also Barca are not the “good guysâ€. No good guys throw themselves to the ground in agony when they haven’t been touched at all. I am a Chelsea fan (which is something you carry for life) and Drogba does it, and he isn’t a good guy. If the Barca team really were the best then why do they need to do it. Daniel Alves, Sergio Busquets and Mascherano are a disgrace to football, and do not deserve anything. Real were better than Barca in BOTH legs of the Super cup, and Mourinho has figured out how to beat Barcelona, and if you hadn’t noticed it takes him two years at most clubs he is at to get them in the frame of mind he requires. Why in God’s name is what Mourinho did a 10 game ban? You can punch someone clear in the face and not get a 10 game ban. You people are deluded if you think he should get a 10 game ban for trying to stick his finger in the assistant coaches ear. Everyone hates mourinho purely because of how good he is, and ask any Chelsea, Porto, Inter and Real fans about who the best coach in the world is and you only get one answer. You can even ask Liverpool, Arsenal and Man utd. fans and they will all say that Mourinho would be welcomed with open arms (mainly after SAF leaves utd.- they wouldn’t get rid of Sir Alex obviously) and Liverpool fans will say “King Kenny†is amazing but if you find one that isn’t a complete brick wall they will tell you that Jose would be welcomed at Anfield. He is a born winner and to be honest it tells you how well he is doing that you have written an article to the length you have about him, he knows how to get under the oppositions skin, as he has done with Arsenal Benfica Man Utd. Milan and now Barca.

He took his best shot, tried to play the right way, should have won at home and were close to sending it to a penalty shoot out tonight…in the end they fly home with nothing because in the end the good guys and the righteous football wins.

Just read the sh*t that he has put and this bit really gave away the kind of fan he is. To call Barca good and righteous after your club has been robbed of a title tells me that he is on his way to City soon !!

Nothing could stop me loving my children and I don't believe anything could stop me loving Chelsea ..

But what if your children loves Liverpool? You have got to draw the line somewhere

Okay, during the first read through I mustve missed the word FORMER in his article. What exactly happened between him and the club? They dumped him "publicly"? Was he expecting them to come out and say "yes, his controversial views on Hillsborough etc are exactly right because he is a fan of ours."

Its just sad. I can understand being hurt if people threaten to kill your family and you get the cold shoulder, but what a disappointing reaction. If something that traumatic happened to me, and I felt backstabbed by the club after forty years, I would be done with the sport as a whole.

The whole "they turned their back on me" thing is a little ridiculous. Im so confused as to what he expected from them. Nobody knows who the f**k Steven Cohen is in Europe. Except some brainless Scousers who have nothing to do with their lives but rove the internet looking for anyone who has ever said a bad word against their miserable city.

Well said on both of them. Jose should dampen his craziness a bit, but Madrid must surely see now that they have the man who can match Barca and take them down to the wire. If they had better, more level headed defenders, and keep their cool, I think they will previal the next time these teams meet.
