Davey Baby Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Deserves a thread of its own. F**king poetry. They should release the DVD .. call it "Lampard's Tackle" .. should be a hit with the girls.
moi Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I for one would not like to see Lampard's tackle on FabricAss - Frank's tackle is fine where it is, thank you very much, Davey!
Carloseyebrow Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 When it happened , I just thought Lampard you legend.
bjd Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Franks tackle was the true action of a man who knew excatly what he was doing. i think hes waited a few years to do that. Also worth noting Rauls tackle at the end that got him booked. That was taking one for the team if ever there was one. Sad for him after doing that he will miss the Final. Im actually more sad for him than for Ivanovic and Rami as both of theirs were silly bookings really.
Zeta Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Upset for all of them expect Terry, as his was stupid. Ramires and Ivan have contributed so much on this run in and to lose them both to cards for dissent really stings. Merieles, for all the criticism I've given him this year put in 2 great shifts against Barca and would have deserved to start the final. I hope we appeal them all, even if they all get rejected we won't have lost anything from trying.
Ben Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I really hope he gives away the goal for the lose in the spanish cup, such an unlikable odd eyed unicorn lookalike.
Myles_91 Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 You can't appeal bookings. United tried it with Darren Fletcher and even his wasn't overturned.
HisDogSpot Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 The only thing wrong with it was that he got booked! Didn't Fabregas pull Lampard to the floor after one tackle not sure which one but was much worse than what Terry did or did I imagine that.
Spiller86 Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 My heart skipped a beat after the referee ran in. I thought he might show red again.
Martin_plumb Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Ramires got booked after they scored their second when he walked past the red and had a dig along the lines of 'are you happy now after sending off our captain and they've scored' which now he would have seen the replay he will regret saying even more Ivanovic got booked as before messi took his penalty ivanovic thought he would be sly and walked over to the penalty spot and started kicking the ground to generally f**k up the spot to make it harder for messi (which worked I guess) and got done for bad sportsmanship Both very avoidable, both gutting to loose but if the game hadn't happened the way it did the result might not have been so incredible
Hitsu Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 (edited) I think this was from the earlier incident (Lamps looks like he's about to show Fabregas his strong pimp hand) this one is the scuffle after and this was from later (actually wait I think that's not Fabregas but it's still a good picture) Edited April 25, 2012 by Hitsu
dkw Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 That bottom picture is fantastic, I presume Franks saying "Paybacks a bitch, aint it"
DELBY Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 (edited) Obvious history between the two. I was on such a buzz after Tuesday night I watched the whole game again on Chelsea Tv at midnight. During the little scuffle seen above in Hitsu's pictures in which Fabregas grabs Lamps leg the Chelsea commentator Ben Andrews goes "Get up Fabregas you plank!" Absolute quality!! Haha, I miss Chelsea tv, cancelled my subscription a year or so when I moved in with my missus. Jason Cundy used to be worth watching the full 90 minutes for alone, his commenty against Liverpool in the CL a few years back was priceless.
