I look forward to seeing United and Arsenal both getting completely hammered in their games, and i'm glad it will be Jose rubbing SAF's nose in it.

Hope Celt*c get battered into a pulp.

I can see United getting past Madrid tbh, Arsenal will get stuffed though.

Gutted we aint in this, imagine us with Juves draw?

To be honest the English clubs could do with going out early, it may give them a kick up the ass because in recent years i think English clubs have been falling behind in this competition. Yeah we won it last season but over all in the last couple years English clubs have been poor.

We wouldn't have gotten Juve's draw though, it would have been Dortmund for us.

I'm talking about if we won the group...

Shakhtar vs Dortmund will be end to end stuff.

Cue two 0-0 games!

No way in hell United will get past Madrid, it would take a miracle akin to us winning the CL last season.

Wouldn't go that far, lets not forget that they still have Kagawa and Vidic who will be back by then. I wouldn't be surprised to see United win, almost expecting it in fact.

Feel pretty confident every British side will be knocked out. I almost feel sorry for Arsenal getting that draw.

I love that so many big teams are paired up right away. Makes me think that a Malaga/Dortmund/PSG/Valencia type team can pass the first round and build up some momentum.

Cant wait to see Dortmund/Shaktar and PSG/Valencia. Also Gala/Shalke should be entertaining, with all the Turkish fans in Germany

Yeah, a bit too far but you can only rely on your attacking talent for so long. Their midfield of 40 year olds and youngsters will get exposed, badly, against Madrid. I'm not saying they couldn't snatch it, depending on Vidic's fitness at the time but it will be a very difficult task.

No one's mentioned Barca vs Milan yet. This would have been one of the greatest matchups in years gone by, but Milan are just far too weak at the moment.

United always get written off recently but they always seem to come out on top.

They beat us, City ect when most expected them to struggle....yes they have luck but they also know how to win the big games more than almost anyone else.

I see Madrid struggling in this one.

If any english team makes it through to the next round, it'll be ManU.

And why does Juventus have to be drawn against teams I like all the time? First Chelsea and now Celtic. Oh well, only one outcome will make me happy.

Normally I would expect this fixture to be a walk in the park for Madrid, though considering they face Barcelona in the league just three days before the second leg clash with United at Old Trafford, anything can happen.

Very happy with this draw, and yes, I couldn't give two figs about English teams.

Let's face it, they couldn't give two figs about us.

Arsenal really f**ked up coming second in their group, major misjudgement by Wenger, playing a weakened team in the last group game and surrendering a 1-0 lead.

Now they have Bayern and they have to play the second leg away. Tough tough tough.

They would have had Galatasaray and they would have had the second leg at home. Major major mistake.

Wenger really is a twonk. Unforgiveable.

Utd? Yes they have the second leg at home, which is an advantage, but they're going out. Simple as.

All in all a good day's work.

Galatasaray vs Schalke

- Yilmaz against Huntelaar. Difficult one to predict, but I'll go with Schalke if they can get a good result in the first game.

Celtic vs Juventus

- Two teams with loads of will and fighting spirit. But Juventus are the more skilled team and should win.

Arsenal vs Bayern

- I'll go with Bayern here seeing as I think they can win the whole thing this year. Arsenal have some strengths, but Bayern is the more complete team.

Shakhtar vs Dortmund

- Two teams who can produce some amazing attacking displays. Could be a couple of very entertaining games. In the end Dortmund is a bit stronger.

AC Milan vs Barcelona

- Milan of last season could perhaps have had a chance, but not this year. Even if El Shaarawy has stepped up to fill Ibrahimovics boots they are still weaker than last year. Barcelona should win both games.

Real Madrid vs Man Utd

- The Special One against the Red Nosed One. Two really good managers and loads of really good players. In Reals favor is the fact that they have already lost the league and will be able to focus 100% on the Champions League. I think they will win in the end.

Valencia vs PSG

- How good is Valencia and is PSG ready to compete? I have no idea. Could go either way, but my money is on Valencia.

Porto vs Malaga

- I thought Malaga would fall apart this season, but they haven't. Are they good enough to beat Porto? Not right now perhaps, but who knows what players Porto will have left for these games. Will they be able to keep their best players in january? If they do, I think they will win this one, if they don't, it could be a bit more tricky.

Shakhtar vs Dortmund is made more interesting due to the fact Shakhtar's last competitive game before the first leg would have been the loss to Juventus, the first game of the second half of the Ukrainian season (Games 19 to 30) is on the 2nd of March (Shakhtar face Volyn), nearly 3 weeks after the Dortmund first leg and a few days before the second leg in Germany. That is a huge advantage for Borussia. But on the other hand, Shakhtars record in all competitions is ridiculous

League - P18, W17, D0, L1, GF 52, GA 9

UCL - P6, W3, D1, L2

They are still in the Ukrainian Cup, so it will be very interesting as a tie.
