Ba to Valencia?

Featured Replies

So I heard some rumours that Jose is adamant he does not want Ba at chelsea and that Ba's been offered to Valencia however they're uncertain due to Ba not being insured.

If this turns out to be true and Jose is getting rid of Ba does that mean he's that sure that the Rooney deal will go through? cause if we sell Ba then we are going to have to sign another striker that's a fact.

If you think about Ba and his style he is really not Jose's type of character. He is not a hard worker per say. Torres runs like hell so in that sense he is more Jose's type. Scoring is strikers job but usually Jose uses all his 10 field players to do everything on the pitch aka defend. That is needed if you want to win something.

Not sure if you can make Ba change his style...we will most definetly see Hazard and Mata defend lot more this season.

I was watching a program on Chelsea tv and Neil Barnett said that Ba is very much like Drogba so i cant see why Jose wouldnt think he was any good.

I also think that Ba has more of a chance to adapt to the way we play than Torres does. How ever as we have all said before it will be far far easier to off load Ba than it will Torres.

I just feel a bit bad for Ba really.

Any links to the rumour?

It's going to be a domino effect, Rooney's signing depends on United bring in a replacement/marque signing and if we sign Rooney I expect us to release one of our forwards.

I think with most of the big transfers this summer (Rooney, Bale, Suarez) it's going to just be a case of who blinks first.

How is he like Drogba? Hes tall and black?

Drogba has so much more to his game

Im just telling you what he said. He didnt go into details.

Well i hope hes reading this, because what he said is bullsh*t

That must be the most lazy comparison that I've heard in some time.

From ESPN
Valencia are looking to fill the goals-void left by the departure of Roberto Soldado with any one of Chelsea's strikers. They've already tried for Fernando Torres and been rebuffed but the Daily Mail think the Spanish club would happily take either Demba Ba or Romelu Lukaku on loan.

I'm ok with them taking Ba for a season loan.

Probably because we pay too much in wages so it's hard to shift players unless we loan them out and pay part of their wages.

I dont' see us loaning out Ba, if he goes he goes for good.

I kinda feel for him because I really liked him when he was at Newcastle but I'm not sure he quite cuts it. He scored some nice goals last year in the cup games but not too many in the league.

I don't think Ba's wages are that high that other team can't afford them. He isn't on Torres money that's for sure. Loaning him would be pointless for us. If he isn't needed here anymore then sell him.
