It still gives me goosebumps. When people are seriously proposing to bring a cnut who cannot be named to Chelsea, it can't hurt to remind us that there are some thoroughly decent players around as well.

God I love this man. 

I dunno why but I love that Frank was wearing the captain's armband when he broke the goal scoring record, somehow made it that much more special. 

I swear he got his best sleep during the night after he got that goal, and the best morning a day after that goal.

For me that was the best moment of the season Frank breaking the record.

I am with you 100% there. The agonising 'Will he? Won't he?' lead up before he got those two goals at Villa I think made it all the better. I think if he had signed a one year extension before that it wouldn't have been the same... 

 

I just wish he had scored that goal against Benfica in the Europa League Final rather than it rattling the post, would have made his season sign off all the more sweeter...

It was amazing purely because we didn't know if he was staying at the time. In fact it looked more likely he was leaving so for him to break the record meant so much to us.

Exactly what I felt - especially as the closer to the end of the season we got and he hadn't scored a goal in almost 2 months it wasn't looking too rosy. To score the equaliser and the record breaker in one match was special...

Vital 3 points aswell. Like you said Hannah it wouldn't be the same if he signed a new contract and done it this season. Just like our champions leauge win it was meant to be.

Pete is also a legend for doing that for Frank.

When Frank broke the record at villa park Pete put Frank on he's shoulders andbrought him over to the chelsea fans. Just showed how close the two players are. Nice touch.
