He's been at the club for years, appeared in a lot of the behind the scenes videos when the team have won stuff etc.

As far as I know he is a really well liked fella with the team, a bit of a joker with the lads, but Chelsea through and through.

I remember seeing him and Terry joking about something, terry was saying he's a class act etc, was years ago

It's not the first time the teamtalk has been given by Billy, I think when Jose feels he's done all of the preperation and the players know what they've got to do he employs this sort of tactic as a slight distraction but also to remind the players how much their individual effort matters.  As Zola said, Billy is blue, he loves the club and that message gets through to the players.

Yeah - I seem to remember that JT gave him a car or something one year as a gift?

 

Seems thoroughly well liked, and it probably helps having someone who is completely bonkers in the changing room when the pressure is on.
