Zola Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 After a rush of blood to the head I just went and booked flights and a hotel in Paris for two on the tuesday. The next hurdle is getting tickets. I only have a membership for one ticket, will they be released on a loyalty point basis? How do the away games work? I will be gutted if I don't get tickets, what do I do now?
CFCholland Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I must say I love your enthusiasm haha. This website usually has loads of tickets and it seems legit, but I don't have any experience with it to be honest. http://www.viagogo.co.uk/chelseafc
Barn Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Good man, hotheaded but good. Are you going with your bro?
Zola Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 Thanks folks Hasn't really sunk in that I am going, I just kinda dived in there and clicked through like a mad man! Where there's a will there is a way, hopefully. Beerqueen has very kindly offered to help with her extra membercard(s), I have no idea on the demand but I suspect it will be very high. I will cross my fingers until ticket details are announced!
terraloon Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Hope you can get tickets. We are booked on Eurostar from Ashford on the Tuesday & back on the Thursday. Looking at the web site the sequence will be UEFA away season ticket holders first, then season ticket holders then members. No dates yet
Barn Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Girlfriend mate. Shes not getting a ring btw You know you'd have more fun with your bro.....or me????? Though I wouldn't put out even if you funded the whole trip! Good luck mate, have a great trip.

mclovin83 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Love how you just steamed in and booked it without a ticket! That's the way to make it happen! What travel package/accomodation did you go for and how much was it out of interest?
Zola Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 (edited) Love how you just steamed in and booked it without a ticket! That's the way to make it happen! What travel package/accomodation did you go for and how much was it out of interest? as soon as it was announced I booked on easy jet direct from Belfast. 190 round trip for two people. Then booked on Hotels.com, 4 star right in city centre a £244 total. As I was booking the rooms were droping out pretty quick so I acted pretty fast on it. To be honest for me thats basically the same price as to fly to london for a match so I am happy enough. I just need to get two tickets now haha Edited March 21, 2014 by Zola
Adam Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Here you go Zola http://www.chelseafc.com/chelsea-article/article/3724509

CFC-May19 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I think Chelsea are waiting on PSG to provide them with the tickets - then members are good to go with buying them. Hope you guys get the tickets, representing the Chelsea fans back home :D
Beerqueen Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Yeah I've just found that on the CFC site thanks! I'm keeping an eye out for Zola not for me!! But I'm hoping to go to the home leg.
Jones1905 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3731158/title/paris-saint-germain-away-ticket-details-announced Best of luck Zola!
Zola Posted March 25, 2014 Author Posted March 25, 2014 I need to keep a beady eye!! Friday is the day I hope.
Zola Posted March 27, 2014 Author Posted March 27, 2014 so tickets are out tomorrow for members - loyalty points look rather high if the season ticket allocation is anything to go by. There's a travel declaration form that has to be signed - stating flight and hotel details. does anyone know if the club actually checks up on that? I only have one membership and low points, so to have a chance of buying i'd need two membership with high points (which i may have on offer). However, I dont want to run the risk of putting a member in trouble with the club!

However, I dont want to run the risk of putting a member in trouble with the club! Welcome to the club mate. I'm sure there will be several hundred if not thousands in the same boat. I too booked travel (Eurostar) and hotel as soon as the date was announced. Both are non-refundable so I'm going whatever. I tried and failed to get tickets through Chelsea and PSG. I harbour a vain hope of getting tickets once in Paris, but realistically my best hope is a good piss-up and watching the game in a pub in central Paris. So good luck...
Eight Times Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Good luck mate! If the worse comes to the worse and you don't get a ticket, take the mrs for a nice meal, then find a pub showing the game!
Adam Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Cheers Adam ! Thats the home fixture though mate haha Ha! Sorry about that. Duhhhhh
