August 31, 201411 yr They did with Ozil last season though Hmmm I guess so but I'm not sure, they did buy him after the first game of the season not in the deadline day or near the deadline day, it could be debated a panic buy because they did get thumped by Villa but Wenger did actually need another attacker up there because it was really lacking in there system. I could be wrong to be honest but I just don't see it happening, with such little time left I can't see Wenger doing it.

Body's expensive, Falcao seems Real bound and has astronomical wages, etc

August 31, 201411 yr Hernandez is now odds on to go to Madrid so not sure about Falcao now Really? As in Chicharito? Edited August 31, 201411 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
August 31, 201411 yr Anyone worried about Arsenal? Nope, said it last week. They lack leaders, a good striker and a central defensive midfielder. Remind me of us last summer, year behind in progression.
August 31, 201411 yr Wuhoo 3 rivals (yes I'm including Man Utd) dropping points this weekend whilst we capitalise.
August 31, 201411 yr Nope, said it last week. They lack leaders, a good striker and a central defensive midfielder. Remind me of us last summer, year behind in progression. I think they're years off tbh not just a year. They have been for a long time.
August 31, 201411 yr From Sportsmail'S Sami Mokbel at the King Power Stadium 'Message from Arsenal fans is crystal clear: 'Sign a f****** striker', they chant!'
August 31, 201411 yr They need to but because Wenger is an idiot he's lost options, I think had he gone for Remy weeks ago he'd have got him. Edit: that Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa looks alright maybe they'll go for him Edited August 31, 201411 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
August 31, 201411 yr Ozil was £42m right, ha ha ha. Why you laugh he's amazing, they don't need Fabregas, just ask the Gooner fans
August 31, 201411 yr So far from what I've seen only City worry me. Agreed, think its between us and them
August 31, 201411 yr Arsenal and Liverpool haven't impressed me at all. City haven't either but eventually they'll hit their stride, we should both finish way above the rest.
August 31, 201411 yr Slow down people, still only 3 games into the season. But yes Arsenal really haven't improved like everyone else thought they would, I expect them to have a good go again but it will just be meaningless. There is no way they will keep at it they don't have the mentality even if they stay injury free. Call us anti football all you want, our players would run through walls for Mourinho and don't ever give up, there is no way Arsenal are finishing above us this season, can't see it happening.
August 31, 201411 yr Leicester have been quietly impressive - 3 difficult fixtures and they've come away with 2 points - many probably expected them to come away with 0. As for Arsenal, yeah same old, same old. Will likely make the Top 4 but no more.
