How did that work out for you Mystic Meg?

As good as it worked out for Oscar and Chelsea.

Oscar, Mr. Benchwarmer, who was so tired and needed to rest.  Yet, the first game of the season, he was sent right to the bench where he belongs. While Willian who played the WHOLE season last year, and played COPA AMERICA and just showed up to training last week was picked ahead of "Mr. I rested the whole summer." Tells you all you need to know! That thing is done at CFC and will be moved out next season.

As for Moses and the game yesterday, I am very worried about Mourinho. Mourinho cost chelsea the game yesterday. That starting line up and tactics was a disgrace. Then when Arsenal packed the bus, this was the time to bring in Moses (or smh..even cuadrado). Not because Moses or Cuadrado are amazing, but because when a team parks the bus, the best way to get around that is to stretch them through the sides and have players who will drag the defense to the byline! Man City does it with their wing backs and so does Barcelona. But since Chelsea have two wing backs who cant play like that, its important to have used the wingers who play like that. To use wingers who cut in---and ask them to cut in to a middle that was caked up, is a tactical blunder that is made by rookie coaches. Secondly, to remove Azpilicuta and put in Zouma?? for what??? what was Zouma going to do up there??? Mourinho needs to apologize for that rubbish he put out yesterday.

While I respectfully disagree with some of your points I will agree that Moses should have been in the game a lot earlier, probably should have started. Ramires is not a great option flying down the wing imo. If Moses had the chance Ramires missed yesterday I think he scores there more often than not. I also agree that Willian was a warrior yesterday considering how much football he has played over the summer. It seems strange that Oscar does not start there if José is working on match fitness as Willian is already there.

I don't think José has to apologize, for many on here he is above reproach...

Personally, I didnt even care that moses did not start or came in late, but someone with those characteristics had to start and especially when Chelsea went behind! Moses' skill set became very important to turn the game around. Moses, Cuadrado, hell! Even Remy should have been moved to the right and Ramires replaced with Falcao. Mourinho lost the tactical battle and played into Wenger's hands and I am very upset with that. I know Mourinho well enough to know he is too good for the nonsense he did yesterday. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ABOUT ZOUMA???!!  Was he trying to pass a stupid message to the board?? that chelsea needs a left back?? Did he purposefully lose the game?? because I am sorry, but to bring in an extra CB to play along 3 other CBs when you need a goal is a fireable offense! it tells me that the coach is trying to lose the game.

Willian is a phenomenal player. fantastic! People get upset with him (and rightly so) for not scoring more or assisting more, but for me, Willian is a must in every game! His movement unbalances teams. he is like sterling! They dont score or assist much, but their movement could make an opponent collapse like a pack of cards. More so, willian as number 10 for me, is one of the best number 10s in europe. Look at how the game changed when he moved into the middle. of course, Arsenal were withdrawn at that time, but they couldnt handle his movement. I hope he remains in that role all season.

Eddie, I've spoken to Jose, albeit briefly because he didn't have a lot of time. I told him about your Zouma query, he said he reads your posts avidly as they brighten up his day. Anyway, he told me Azpilicueta was on a yellow, having just been booked for a foul on Oxlade-Chamberlain, halting Arsenal's winger as they launched a dangerous counter-attack. You see at that point, Jose says, we were chasing the game and Arsenal were playing purely counter-attack, relying on their winger's pace, and he was stationed on the right, against Azpilicueta, who was left exposed against his pace.

So, Jose says, he was trying to protect him from a red, and the subsequent ban that would bring, and bringing on a much faster player.

That was his logic. He says if you have any more questions just ask.

Not trying to argue your overall point, but theres no ban from the Community shield

I think there can be, dont the FA decide whether its a ban or not on the actual offences?

Not unless theres a universal type ban after a situation like Suarez in the world cup. Was changed after Rooney and Scholes was sent off I believe. Ivanovic even escaped a straight red with no ban

Ah right, didnt realise that had changed.
