I rather see him on the wing - give Hazard a rest & let the young lad have a run - also Traore played well IMHO - just hope DC can return quickly

Mikel was decent, I actually thought Hazard played well apart from a couple of misplaced passes.

 

Went for Oscar though, thought he was very good in normal time and solid in ET.

Mikel for me, an excellent, assured performance - defensively solid and distributed well. Also didn't seem perturbed when he was left to run the middle on his own.

 

HM: JT was much better, and Rahman was also very good in the first half.

Terry was quietly good. Won most of his headers, lots of good interceptions.

Mikel for me, he looks assured on the ball and is playing as well as he ever has, always solid and that might be something we could do with in this team, I think Mikel and Mata would help with whatever back four Jose decides to pick, just need to get the forward players firing.

It worked for Di Matteo. Mata doesn't mark but playing a Mikel that loves to drop back to help the defenders gave the like of Mata, Malouda, Ramires, Drogba and co the freedom to wreck havoc on the opposition team.

Mikel was good but I thought JT was outstanding. I didn't think anyone played that badly.

 

Remy was a bit of a mess before he scored and at times Hazard looked like he couldn't be arsed at all, other than that it was all pretty decent.

 

I also thought Kenedy & Traore helped a lot. Quite lively and always willing to shoot.

Mikel for me, apart from the one poor mistake which was not marking Walters when he got that shot off in the dying mins of the first half he was solid. 

I'll go with Mikel, he was calm on the ball and made some nice passes, his first touch was very good too. I would very much be in favour of seeing a Mikel-Matic partnership given a try right now. If Mikel can keep playing like that and not the lose the ball in silly areas of the pitch and lose concentration, then i would be in favour of him keeping his place in the first 11.
