My all time rugby hero, he's to reason I follow the All Blacks to this day.

Way too young to leave us,  RIP big guy.

I've just read about this.  Couldn't believe it!  Only 40 years old!  There is no sense at all in the way some live and others die.

Rest in Peace, Jonah.

I lived in NZ for 3-4 years and the Kiwi rugby fans were not that keen on him and thought he was not a rugby player just a battering ram.

I watched him play against Fiji in the Hong Kong sevens when NZ were losing he came off the bench and turned the match, I'll always remember three big Fijians trying to drag him down yet they couldn't stop him.

Marvellous athlete and seemed a genuinely nice guy.

As a kid growing up in the tough neighbourhoods of Auckland he saw family members in trouble in gang fights. One even being decapitated and they say in alternative health that fear harms the kidneys.

RIP big fella.
