Went for Fabregas, thought he had a respectable all round performance.

Hard one to pick here as no one was good and no one was awful either.

 

Tibo, couple of decent stops in the first half, basically redundant in the second.

 

The whole back 4 can be described the same way, lost the battle in the first half for the most part, won it the second.

 

Mikel and Matic bypassed most of the first half, not tested much in the second offered little going forward.

 

Willian, back to his former poor standards, cannot play a final ball anymore.

 

Oscar, good work, movement, probably our best threat on their goal.

 

Cesc, good range of passing, calm on the ball.

 

Diego, came closest to scoring but almost every time he tried to run with the ball he ran straight in to the Watford defenders.

 

Based on that I will go with Cesc.

Azpilicueta. Nobody got passed him tonight, he had urgency to his game ( like he always does ) and looked like a player wanting to win the game from the start, unlike a few of our other players tonight.

Probably Oscar for me as he seemed to be the only one creating anything. All round game was good too. 

Fabregas for me. Thought he got better & better as the game went on. Oscar had some good moments but still too many flicks which don't come off.

 

Shame Guus didn't go for it more in the second half as the 3 points were there for the taking. 

Went for JT in the end...started ropey, but Igahlo and Deeney barely had a kick in the second half...surprised at Fabregas votes, thought it was his worst game since Mourinho left

Azpi for me, fantastic defensively.
