We played well after 25 minutes and we were playing good football it was expansive high tempo and the passing was reasonably slick, and it was probably one of our more exciting performances and I'm sure the game would have been enjoyable for the neutral.

Yet reading this thread you would think we played ultra negative cowardly football and were lucky for the draw. 

Also how is Hiddink cowardly for starting Mikel next to Matic, It was a tactical decision where Matic is playing in a box to box role to match Fellaini going forward and going back.

And considering he doesn't want to risk Hazard who isn't yet 100% match fit and the BPL isn't a priority for us as it is all but over. So you either play Matic as the Box to box midfielder or you bring in a recently returning and not really up to scratch Pedro and an inexperienced youngster in RLC.

I wouldn't call this cowardly .

And this thread is kinda negative because it seems bad player performances dosen´t matter and changing the line up also dosen´t matter.

i think it is time a lot of fans accepted that we are not playing well, are down the dark end of the table and a point against a pretty in form united has to be accepted

I have had my dark hours this season, no doubt. But calling GH spineless is pushing it. Whether you wanted JM out or not (I didn't!), he has come in under horrendous circumstances, and pulled us up the table. It isn't pretty, (and it won't be), but he deserves a lot of credit.

Guus has clearly come in with a mandate to keep us up. At present we are clear of the zone, a couple of bad results can easily drop us back into the mire. Two places appear to be sorted, the rest are now battling,usually one goes on a winning spree whilst another goes into freefall,we have to make sure that isn't us. It definitely isn't pretty, the sooner we get to forty the better.

They've not beaten us in 3 years now, and the last time they beat us required typical United dodgy refereeing. That's something..

I actually don't see too much between Matic and Mikel, Mikels playing a bit better but will never get taken off as his Hiddinks number one man. Then when Mikel is playing crap it's always because Matic is playing.

It's been a busy day, when you have time have a look through the threads, you'll see who is for and against all manner of things and folk, enjoy.

Poor performance again, we tried to play for 20 min only  out of the 90. Happy we managed a draw, lucky in my opinion. We are a mediocre team this season, players have no pride or ambition and some clearly lack the qualities to play at this level. I didn't like it when Jose said it, I thought it was arrogant but it seems he was right, he was able to elevate these players to performance levels above their talent or abilities, Massive clear out needed in the summer.

 

Guus is a likable guy, but as a manager his ambition with this group is not to get relegated and not to lose. Doesn't give me a lot of hope for CL or FA.

We were one maybe two points off the drop zone when Guus took over. It's now seven (only seven) so in my opinion we are not safe yet. Imagine we'd lost today and at the Arse it would be only three. So, in my humble opinion Guus is doing a good job. Remember the capitulation against Southampton and against Liverscum, yes, so do I and today's performance resembled nothing like that. Yes we shi*e for first 20 mins, that happens, but we played well enough for me. I am not seeing everything through rose tinted glasses but there's been improvement. Matic?? Needs a long rest.

bloody hell, the usual whine fest on here,gus has a job to keep us up, he is being prag-matic,he made the right moves bringing on hazard and pedro[ who was impressive,once we had the measure of them, their keeper was outstanding, apart from that we would have won handy, onwards and upwards.credit to the blue massive, noise was great all game.
