Apparently we're £3m short of what Roma want. If this is the case for as little as £3m we should just cough up and give them the money. I've not really seen enough of him to talk but if Conte wants hm we may as well splash the cash. Similar last summer where we tried to penny pinch on players.

Wow...

Just coming out he tore his ACL in training session with Germany today. Ovbiously out of the euros and for a long time after aswell.
Probably kills this deal i would assume.

Horrible and awful timing for him.

Speaking selfishly, Roma obviously laid out the fee they paid for him expecting to sell-on immediately at a profit. Now not only is that going to happen, they don't have the player available either. Hopefully it lessens their resolve in negotiations for Naingolan.

Apparantly he was set to be a starter aswell with Germany struggling with injuries already.

Roma might be in a bit of trouble aswell, they bought him to sell him for a profit to us. Now they are very likely stuck with him and i wonder if that may force their hand to take our offer for Nainggolan. They are in trouble economicly.
