SPMC is the choice for android though, much more suited to android than Kodi itself 

I use an Mbox which is around £30 and that runs fine for me, just updated to the latest Kodi firmware.

Hey @dan_cfc what are some good Kodi boxes out there ? Did you make any research before purchasing your Kodi Box?

You can just get any standard android box for around £30 upwards then just install kodi

I was hoping to go for Amazon Fire TV but you are saying I shall get something around £30. Help me with it I cannot really decide, gaming streams is also my interest to fulfill.

Go for the fire tv  box preferably. It accepts a VPN which is important with restrictions on streaming.

 

 

 

 

How about if I also want to go for gaming and streaming, I guess Nvidia is a better choice ? I am still researching and making sure to get the best.

Has SportsMania disbanded? Seems to have removed the ability for subscriptions.

They arnt taking new subs for SM they have other platforms but they have been having a hard time lately, can see em packing it in

They are setting up new servers and have taken down their social media site for obvious reasons. The new subs have been down for a few weeks because of the changes they are implementing but this should be sorted this week as the new servers are now up. 

They are not packing it in at all so don't worry. They now run a forum instead of the Facebook page. It's sportsmania rocks forum if you Google it. 

There is also a new IPTV sport that's basically just what sportsmania is and one of the guys from the SM page now runs his own so if for some reason if SM did go down or whatever there is always that one. They are doing free trials so if you have Facebook you can try that one out and see how it is for you.

I had a discussion with Willow Willow (the boy who runs it) the new server was and is needed because of the crackdown on EPL streams...they could have left it as it was but then you would require a VPN which most of the non tech folk won't have or know what it is. These new servers will take away that need. I do reccomend a VPN though for Kodi use and in general really, it's not that dear and there are free ones albeit the free ones do slow your speed down quite a bit.

I'll keep an eye out on Sports Mania for when they're taking subscriptions again, the option isn't there at the moment.

anyone found any good add ons for the footie this season? I used use NJM soccer but that seems to have stopped working..

Sports Devil is hit or miss, some weeks its great other weeks a pain in the arse.

If you liked NJMSoccer try Made in Canada. Quantum and Rising Tides are also worth a look.

Give Flawless a bash mate. I'm in the same boat as you, can't renew my sub with SM as the payments gateway is down (although been given free codes in the interim). Flawless have a good rep and aren't having any blocking issues, plus they do trial periods for a very small fee.

52 quid a year for just Sport- you can get cheaper, shorter packages. (2 quid for a 48 hr trial) too. Full entertainment package is about 70 quid a year (I think)

Yes HD, only the usual delay compared to live TV due to re-coding, ie less than a minute.

Only just realised how easy it is to setup iptv. on the 2 day trial with flawless now and I'm very impressed. Probably Cancel sky now tbh.

curious, has anyone used either Quasar or Pulsar Kodi add-ons for streaming?
