what are your favorite add-ons? I am still using Genesis, but Exodus is supposedly the replacment. Still find success using Ice Films. Still having issues trying to watch footie streams - using reddit for links via html streaming

Salts and Specto are good for tv/movies etc. Phoenix sports, Vidtime, NJM Soccer for live games. DC Sports for uk sports channels.

Ares Football
Exodus

All I really uise.

Also, Mobdro is a great app to download (outside of Kodi), give you all the sports channels, and very reliable.

Ok, i'm finally going to buy one of these devices to let me watch stuff on my TV.

I was going to buy a Amazon Firestick, but it says it's a bit complicated to install extra apps on those. What do you lot use? I just want a small USB sized thing if possible, or at least smaller than the big PS4 I'm using to watch netflix at the moment.

I have a firestick and installed kodi with little problem and find it absolutely fantastic and watch practically any series or film with no problem.

Went round to my mum and dads last weekend and took my android box with me to watch the Hull match on.

My dad was so impressed by how good the picture was and ease of use on the SportsMania app that within two minutes he told me to order him one.

His only disappointment is that if he'd known earlier he could have watched the Ryder Cup!

Although he was happy about being able to watch the autumn rugby internationals now.

I think I have converted a small army now!

Done a dozen firesticks at work ( I initially just done it for 2 people but keep getting asked now and can't say no!) in the past week or 2 and most now on Sports Mania.

I hope it doesn't all go up in smoke anytime soon or I'll be in hiding.

I usually just download films and I have a separate app that monitors my series and procures new episodes. For sports I mostly use NJMSoccer and Phoenix.

just curious are you using the Quasar add-on to dl films?

I've got Kodi installed on my Firestick now, and I installed the app "Phoneix", but can't really work out how to watch anything. I click on phoneix sports, and i get options for acestream, zemtv, sports365, etc... but when i click to watch a specific programme, nothing happens. some of them say i need to install more apps, like acestream or zem, in order to watch.

What is the simplest way to just watch things without downloading a million more apps?

I would suggest getting an £80/month Sky TV package.

Sports devil usually has a few good links. The app is awaiting an update but most still work. Some though are blocked by the ISP.

true & many people go around this by getting a private vpn, but there is usually a monthly surcharge for this service - for more info about private vpns, checkout this article

Anybody with apple devices ever wanted to watch Kodi without jailbreaking?

Using the safari browser go to the builds io site, and get an account ($10 a year via PayPal) and you can download the Kodi app to your iPad/iPhone from their site.

works a treat. :good2:
