Posted May 11, 20168 yr Anyone tried this? I downloaded it tonight and tried it out. It's brilliant - all latest films and shows streaming with no annoying ads or pop ups. Easy to use as well. I've only put the one add on called Exodus which seems to literally have everything on it.

Â I bought an Amazon Firestick and had it delivered to Mod, who set it up for me with Kodi, on to which he added among other things Genesis, which gives me Game of Thrones! Â It may be possible on smartphones, I don't have one so I don't know. Â But I love it that I can instruct you on something that belongs to your generation rather than to mine!

I don't own a smartphone either, I'm quite willingly technologically backward to be honest - I'd be far more use at starting a fire than at using 'Whatsapp' or 'Tumblr' or whatever the hell else it is everyone keeps droning on about. Damn kids and their music  It's an app, but not for smartphones. Well, unless you have a phone with a strong cpu, gpu and a hdmi port. You can use basically any platform that can playback hd videos and has the necessary a/v ports to connect to your tv. It runs on windows, linux, android. With the righ addons you can get hd content (films, live tv, sports...) to stream with a few clicks on the remote.

I was disappointed with the picture, it was the same low quality as any internet stream I've ever used. Questions are this: is it as easy as sky? Is the quality anywhere near Sky? Can I get some sort of multi room set up? If I get "yeses" to those then I'll be in, my sky package is way too expensive.

May 12, 20168 yr All spends really For games that are on SKY/ BT and 3 o'clock kick offs I can get HD streams on NJM soccer. It's not always reliable and you do need a top end broadband service. If you want HD you can pay a subscription on streams which work out dirt cheap compared to sky

May 13, 20168 yr Author I guess I'm abit late to the party. Oh well, better late than never. What add on's are you signed upto? I've signed upto Exodus which seems to have every film and show on there. Do you need to sign up to loads?
May 13, 20168 yr Not loads but some of the best for me are the below. UK Turk – Movies, sport, TV shows NJM Soccer – HD football and 3pm kick offs. Navi X – Movies and TV You can also get a wizard which gives you pretty much everything you will need plus updates constantly so old add ons are deleted.
May 16, 20168 yr One thing I would say to try to do regularly is maintenance like clearing the cache etc. All those image thumbnails download to the device and clog up the space. When it inevitably fills it can grind the box down to a complete stop. Mine got so bad the last time it wouldn't even load Kodi anymore and I had to wipe it and start from afresh. Now all I have is Exodus, Phoenix and NJM.

May 16, 20168 yr How do you clear the cache? usually it's in program add ons. In the maintenance tool. It might have been part of the wizard I downloaded though.
