Kodi

So is this something you download and pay a subscription fee to gain access to loads of movies and TV-channels or is it just a media player? Their website just confused me but looks interesting. Especially if i'd gain access to tv-channels i normally wouldn't get here in Norway.

Up and running with Kodi, installed Phoenix add-on. Thanks for the help guys. Any other essential add-ons I should get for films and TV shows?

SALTS (Stream All The Sources) is great for TV and films.

So is Kodi just a media player? And this Pheonix add-on is a plugin which lets you watch football streams like on the internet? And how does all this relate to a TV?

Kodi is a media centre/player. Some addons, like Phoenix, give access to HD streams of movies, tv shows, live tv or sports events.

Phoenix is usually a decent alternative for movies, tv shows and sport

Hmm, have installed Phoenix and am not liking it. Whenever I select a programme it just seems to start in the middle of a random episode - no idea which one!  It doesn't let me select what series or episode.  (That was Game of Thrones, just as a test)

Oh that's odd - it has for Peaky Blinders.  But the quality isn't nearly as good as Exodus was.  More like a VHS video than digital quality.

And Exodus seems to be working again now!  Well, it's good to have a choice!

I use salts bq, best around at the moment. If you want to go one step further then open a Real Debrid account for more private streams. It's about 9 euros for 6 months.

If you want HD non buffering sports I cant recommend sportsmania highly enough.

It's £50 for a year or £26 for 6 months.

pretty much everything.

I cancelled Virgin package, so now only run basic tv and broadband.

Been thinking about Sportsmania for next season mate.

Is it buffer free? HD?

Real Debrid improved my kodi experience a lot, and I also find it useful for downloading stuff from various web-hosting sites at faster speeds. Well worth the pennies it costs.

I think €9 for 3 months, €16 for 6 months. At least it is for me...
