July 6, 201610 yr a lot of hype about wales considering they've hardly beat anyone apart from belgium. they lost to a sh*t england in the groups too. considering france and wales have beat nobody, they both got fortunate to be where they are in this tournament. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/results for the correct scores. July 6, 201610 yr I feel like a lot of you England fans are a little bit jealous or salty as I stated above lol about wales success. Is this not great that an underdog has gotten so far??? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Funny that. I used to live in Llanelli in Wales from 89-91. I vividly remember some very very bitter Welsh people when the boot was on the other foot and England were facing the Germans in the semis. Would you like a pot and a kettle to go with that salt ?
July 6, 201610 yr Wales should be proud to have made it this far, but I must say I hope Portugal win in the hope the final isn't an absolute slaughter.

July 6, 201610 yr Because Portugal have been so great? Wales at least have won their games. Portugal have yet to win one. Yes I think Portugal are more capable of competing with Germany than Wales. Wales have stuck to their game plan well so far but if they go behind and are forced to come out, they will get obliterated by their ruthless efficiency. The Euro 2012 final was dreadful and I don't want a repeat. Edited July 6, 201610 yr by Jonty

Even Bale who is a superstar works for the team. Portugal, on the other hand, is a disjointed mess catering to a prima donna who throws fits whenever somebody other than him takes a shot at goal. It will pass if he is scoring loads but that hasn't happened as well. Based on form, i think Portugal will be thrashed than Wales. Edited July 6, 201610 yr by JoseBlues

July 6, 201610 yr James 'Professor Hoofenstein' Collins starts as well, up against Cronaldo and Nani; thank God for him they have a spare man at the back! I'm not sure I've ever seen a player who seemed more destined to play for West Brom under Pulis. Here are the lineups: Portugal (4-1-3-2) Rui Patricio; Cedric, Bruno Alves, Fonte, Guerreiro; Danilo; Joao Mario, Renato Sanches, Adrien Silva; Nani, Ronaldo. Wales (3-5-1-1) Hennessey; Chester, Williams, Collins; Gunter, Allen, Ledley, King; Taylor; Bale; Robson-Kanu.
July 6, 201610 yr C'mon West England...err, Wales!!!! C'mon West England...err, Wales!!!! Haha, stretching it. Are you down in the valleys this evening Spud ?
July 6, 201610 yr Haha, stretching it. Are you down in the valleys this evening Spud ? Yep. In the valleys. Everyone will be watching or listening this eve. Cardiff was full of folk in Welsh shirts today. I hope they do it as they deserve it I reckon.
July 6, 201610 yr Yep. In the valleys. Everyone will be watching or listening this eve. Cardiff was full of folk in Welsh shirts today. I hope they do it as they deserve it I reckon. Wales aren't even playing in Welsh shirts :-) Both teams in hideous away shirts, what's the idea behind that?
July 6, 201610 yr Wales aren't even playing in Welsh shirts :-) Both teams in hideous away shirts, what's the idea behind that? Creeping into the game more and more and something that really annoys me.
July 6, 201610 yr I genuinely can't tell whether Allen's ridiculous new hair makes me take him more or less seriously as a 'cultured' midfielder.
July 6, 201610 yr Wales aren't even playing in Welsh shirts :-) Both teams in hideous away shirts, what's the idea behind that? I think there's something in their contracts that they have to play a certain number of games in each shirt.
July 6, 201610 yr Wales aren't even playing in Welsh shirts :-) Both teams in hideous away shirts, what's the idea behind that? For real. The Portuguese pastel green particularly bothers me. It looks like you put "regular" green clothes through the wash a hundred times.
July 6, 201610 yr I genuinely can't tell whether Allen's ridiculous new hair makes me take him more or less seriously as a 'cultured' midfielder. What exactly does make a midfielder 'cultured'?
July 6, 201610 yr What exactly does make a midfielder 'cultured'? Depends where you're from. In most countries it implies a certain level of intelligence, technical skill and imagination on the ball. In Britain it basically means that you pass it sideways sometimes.
