Well, at least Iceland can say they have won the second half. It's hardly surprising to see France concede again with Mangala playing though.

They never give up. We could learn so much from this lot.

France Germany is tough to call. Germany have been underwhelming. France have looked really good at times, but they've had periods when they've totally lost focus.

Iceland have been fantastic. 88th minute their centre half gets above his marker at a corner and his header goes inches wide. The guy is slapping the ground in frustration! They are 5-2 down with nothing but professional and national pride to play for - fantastic attitude   

Are there drums or a conductor leading the Iceland clapping thing? It's incredibly difficult to sync slow beats across an entire stadium without an external cue.

What a performance from Iceland! No disappointment here. Inspirational stuff.

God I can't stand Olivier Giroud. I feel annoyed just looking at his beady eyes and pretentious strut. Mario Götze also annoys me to no end just looking at him.

Give this same set of players to a coach like Conte, Mourinho, Simeone, Pep and they'd be lethal.
Wilmots lets too many of his side to be lazy defensively... They give cheap chances to the opposition so often you'd always fancy the opposition to score against them.

The more I think of it the more Klinsmann as England manager makes sense, Experienced international manager and has his teams playing good football, certainly not a yes man.

I never understand why coaches from different nationalities manage other national teams. I would much prefer an english coach to coach england. how can a foreign coach show the same passion for a totally different national side?
