Agreed re Derek Ferguson. Potentially one of the best Scottish midfield players. I still maintain he was a better player than his younger brother Barry.
He was ‘sidetracked’ off the field, which was a real shame as he only hinted at his full potential.

Agree that Derek was a better player than Barry. I wonder if Barry had observed how his brother went off the rails and decided to knuckle down and avoid the pitfalls. Barry wasn't the most skilful player but worked hard.

Thanks mate. A great picture of the ground. I love that the Main Stand with a few changes was retained after the development of Ibrox. The Main Stand is such an iconic stand.

I remember watching that game. West Germany and especially Netzer were brilliant.

Kevin Keegan scores from a free kick.Despite there being a six man Brazilian defensive wall.  It ended 1 -1, on 19th April 78.
