I used to have loads of Buchan's football monthly's from the 60s, unfortunately they disappeared in one of my home moves decades ago.

😥

Edit. Just noticed that date 1930. I wonder how old he was (Buchan) in the 1960s ? I presume the magazine wasn't just using the name.

Can't recall what the description said, but I think it's been posted before mebbe ?

Edit. Just noticed the description at the bottom.

Not that I'm any wiser but I'm sure it'll mean something to our regulars ,!

Great picture. I think it has been posted before. The Scottish Cup Final replay from 1963. Rangers beat Celtic 3-0. Ralph Brand scored 2 and Davie Wilson the other. Crowd was given as 120.273 but there was probably more in the ground.

The record attendance at St Andrew's was set at the fifth-round FA Cup tie against Everton on 11 February 1939; the actual figure is variously reported as 66,844 or 67,341.

This replay wasn’t an all ticket game. Some of the spectators didn’t get in until midway through the first half.

Boyne has posted the match information above.

The Rising Sun:Great picture. Cheers for posting. Doesn’t matter if it’s been previously posted.

May be an image of 4 people, people playing American football, people playing football and text

Scotland v England at Hampden Park on 25 April 1970. The score was 0-0 and the crowd was 137,438. Behind John Greig was Jim Cruickshank and behind him was Tommy Gemmell. I admit I didn't recognise and had to look up the teams. He played for Hearts. I'm not sure who was behind Hurst. Brian Labone? A great Scotland kit.

Great picture. Could well be Brian Labone.
