The Aurora Hotel in Sydney is where the Sydney Chelsea Supporters Club have their weekly gatherings to watch the matches from what I remember, but I'm from Melbourne myself, so I'm not sure if arrangements have changed due to the new broadcasting rights deal that commenced from this season onwards in Australia.

The hotel is about 6km away from the Sydney Harbour Bridge so it's not a long drive and not too far away from the Sydney CBD.

Unfortunately, I cannot help you when it comes to good places in Canberra to watch the games.

If boats are your thing check out the maritime museum in Darling Harbour, ruddy great ex-Navy submarine and destroyer moored outside.

We'd better make it 21, just to be on the safe side.

Thankyou a lot, i will bare that in mind :)

Man, I sure do miss the big wins hahaha. Much less clenching.

But it is an excellent sign that we are capable of winning games 1-0 when we're not at our best.

Costa is a beast. I am looking forward to seeing what Bats can do in his absence. Fabregas really livens the game up when he comes on. I assume he'll play with Matic next game with Kante also missing.

Me too, but these 1-0 victories are absolutely lovely when we hang on and can really celebrate as if we've just won a cupfinal at full time.

After 17 games (Abramovich Era) total number of points:

  • 2003-2004 = 39
  • 2004-2005 = 40 (CHAMPIONS)
  • 2005-2006 = 46 (CHAMPIONS)
  • 2006-2007 = 39
  • 2007-2008 = 36
  • 2008-2009 = 37
  • 2009-2010 = 40 (CHAMPIONS)
  • 2010-2011 = 31
  • 2011-2012 = 33
  • 2012-2013 = 32
  • 2013-2014 = 34
  • 2014-2015 = 42 (CHAMPIONS)
  • 2015-2016 = 18
  • 2016-2017 = 43 (?)

Every time we accumulate 40 or more points after 17 games we win the title. Will it be the same here?

Azpi is taking the plaudits and deservedly so but I also thought Alonso was very good in defence and attack. He got forward so much times despite not having blistering pace, he is very intelligent at making runs and is very solid. Good performance. Such a shame about his free kick. Struck it brilliantly.

Oh, and I hope Alonso gets more FK opportunities. He hit that one sweetly.

Think he should've take over from luiz now. He hasn't really threatened at all with his.

great win, the back three were fantastic in particular.

I know it is an obvious thing to say, but we look like a real team.  relationships all over the pitch, moving the ball well, doing the ugly stuff. great times.

He was fantastic again and has been for weeks and yet some here were still giving him stick. I was afraid Zaha would torment him but he was completely anonymous.

We're coming for you arsenal!

Not really that bothered about it. Don't want Arsenal fans thinking they've got some victory over us if we fail to get the record like they did when we lost to Newcastle and lost our unbeaten record.

Don't really care on bit eighter. And if we win our next two games at home we will have equaled their and the all time record in one season anyways.

95 points > 'Invincibles'

Liked the way Antonio gestured towards the players when the fans were chanting his name after the match, hopefully we take that on board.
