Thought Captain cahill was magnificent tonight, honourable mentions to Cesc and luiz, and who could forget Our own version of Paradise , Msr Hazard

The best player in the league was there when it mattered. Hazard for me.

 

Special mention to Pedro and Alonso.

Not sure how Luiz has votes though, he was jumping into tackles and missing, and his distribution was well below par too.

I know Hazard was breaking ankles of the Citeh players & all, but I just loved the effort from Alonso - dude wasn't just on the left flank - whenever someone got ball & tried to penetrate into the CFC half, MA would mark them & harass that player until they gave up the rock - I remember a couple of instances where he ran into the middle of the pitch following players trying to get the ball from them - I have to applaud his effort

Although he pretty much handed city their only goal, Tibo made some fantastic saves that kept our lead intact.  

Cahill was our best defender in that game by far. Real leader in a huge win.
