No pain, no gain !!!! You don't make great results without sweating a bit ... Look at our win at ATM!!!! It felt like winning a QF/SF of the UCL!!!!

No it didn't - do you remember this in 2012?

And that was a side coached by the So-called Best ever gaffer ever. Yes The win at AM was nice, but not on this level. Believe me when I tell you this.

I have rewatched this game three times at least ... What a pity we conceded this goal !! Despite that, I am extremely proud of our team !!! Never or rarely Have I ever seen us dominating them this way !!! Hit the post twice, scored once, had 11 shots against 7 for them and had created twice as much dangerous situations than them ... despite having the ball 25% of the time !!!! Honestly, if we can do wonders with 30% ball possession and defend very well, I have no doubt we'll be through the Quarter Finals of the UCL! Yes, Barça have scored and the scoreline is 1-1. But Barça can't keep a score liike Juve or ATM... They'll have to score as many as possible to feel safe ! So basically, our game plan won't have to change that much at all compared to the first leg : solid at the back, deadly on the counter and reinforcing a bit the Midfield too (probably playing a real 9 might help methinks)! Remember : 1-0 for us and we're through ! If they equalize (1-1) we're at least in ET and we're through if we're level with them and scored at least 2 goals (2-2) !!! To me, this is definitely doable !!! We're building up and going upwards in terms of form and performance ... Barça not so much at all !! Let's build up our momentum and give those **** another upset they' ll remember for years !!! CAREFREE !!!!

europa league anyone ?

I’m weirdly looking forward to it. I can see some of the young talent getting some game time too which could be really beneficial in the long term.

I think if we can keep the beat players we have now we will be favourites too. I know it’s not an easy competition to win. I’d argue it’s harder to get as far as the final in the EL than it is in the CL. But I’d rather win this than finish in the top four, although I’d prefer we did both next season.

There is definitely a silver lining in being europa, but only if we actually give some of the young players game time and experience. Players like Andreas, RLC, CHO, Empadu should be starting most of the EL games.

I think if we’re playing these random teams that have part time players etc then yeah they should be starting those games. Also thinking of it we qualify early too we could play more youth in the final group game(s). There’s many scenarios where the EL can really benefit our youth development but I do want us to take it seriously.

I totally agree that we should take EL seriously. But I also believe that the 4 players I mentioned (Empadu, RLC, CHO and Andreas) are already good enough to atleast be squad players (Andreas infact started our most important games this season, Empadu would probably have had a much bigger part if he had not gotten injured at such a crucial time, RLC is as good if not a better footballer than Baka, CHO looks like a real prospect and I would rather we give him a shot than keep pedro).

Arsenal played red star belgrade, FC koln, Borisov in group stages. Ostersund in round of 32, Milan in round of 16, CSKA in QF and ATM in finals. Obviously no team would be easy, but those players should be good enough against the quality of teams arsenal faced in group stages and the round of 32 (with all due respect to them). Moreover rotation is paramount in EL.

Angry?  No boy, you are not worth anger, you are too amusing. :laugh2:  I'm sorry, but you keep  on just saying such stupid things.  For someone who claims to be such a huge fan, and also someone who makes such a big noise about giving chances to our youth players, how on earth can you not even know how to spell the name of probably our best young prospect?  Every time?

You are the comedy gift that just keeps on giving.

I was going to write the same thing, Arsenal managed to use the squad in the group stages, hopefully the new manager can take advantage of playing poor teams and give the youth a chance.

But apparently its a "stupid thing", did not you read the post above yours or rather the nonsensic ramblings of a senile old angry man?

Anyways, talking about sensible, non-idiotic things - I just wish we see our youth players get their due. RLC has certainly earned his position and gametime.
