A couple of months later saw this band at Wembley. They were tremendous: I saw the Stones at Wembley in 1982 as well. We may have been at the same gig. They were supported by Black Uhuru and the J.Geils Band. During the J.Geils Band set the sound system failed for about half-an-hour so a lot of people went to the bars. A mate of mine is a big fan of Thin Lizzy and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the group. Much to the amusement of his wife! Saw Thin Lizzy at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1983 when they were on their farewell tour. At the time the guitarists were Scott Gorham and John Sykes. Eric Bell, Gary Moore and Brian Robertson came on stage to do a couple of songs and as a finale all five guitarists were on stage to perform The Rocker. It was deafening.

I used to split my time between three or four forums back in the day, but the Shed fell by the wayside somewhat with study commitments etc (though I'm by no means a digital monk). Doing well thanks, yourself? edit: Looking back, my last Shed post was regarding David Luiz' treacherous departure to Arsenal, so blame Sideshow Bob for me becoming disenchanted and chucking it in.
