Are we doing it based on shoehorning the best players in or what would make Chelsea the best team possible? Because unpopular opinion maybe but if we go for a back 3 i'd omit JT, purely because Azpi, Carvalho and Gallas would be a near perfect back three combination and perfectly balanced to boot.

Some weird positions,  Dave and Ash for their athleticism a bit further forward, Kante the modern day Makka to screen the back 3, Eden to create magic and havoc, Lamps because he is the best in that position in the last 20 yrs, Eidur because he was silky sublime and lethal, and Drogba just is Drogba.

No sign of Charlie Cooke (maybe I missed it) who was a terrific winger? Don't know why Robben gets in some losts as he was only at the club for a very short time.

All depends on people ages. I’m only 30, didn’t really get in to watching football until late 90s/early 00s (I’d rather be out playing it!) so that’s my player pool. 

Always heard about Chelsea greats from the old man (Cooke is one of his all time greats!) but without having seen them play it’s hard to include them.

It's not about who was at the club longest but the best players that the people think. Cooke was brilliant i admit but Robben has proved to be better. I love Wee Pat Nevin hence why he is in my team. Nothing personal lol Same i i have missed Dave.

Robben was brilliant for us in his short time here, an integral part of one of the greatest sides the premier league has ever seen.

In a Chelsea All Time X1, Jimmy Greaves should be included. He was a revelation when he appeared in a Chelsea shirt as a spindly 17 year old. He had everything, balance, pace and outstanding skill.
