Your original inflammatory post, and your subsequent inability to understand why it was inappropriate, is exactly the reason our club gets involved in anti-semtism, anti-racist, anti-hate events.  

This is so ironic:  You find this game to be a waste of time.  But this game doesn't have to happen if there weren't bigoted narrow minded people like you spewing hate.

Whilst I agree that the 'stupid Russian woman' was inappropriate, I don't think jumping to the assumption that he is a bigoted narrow minded person is helpful to him understanding your point. All it will do is reduce each party to name-calling rather than talking about the issue at large.

WalterWhite - Although it may not have been intentional, using the words 'Russian woman' needlessly brings in connotations of race and gender. Anyone is more than welcome to dislike Marina because of what she has (or hasn't) done for the club, but it is not fair to hate her for being who she is (ie a Russian woman). 

 

Anyway, with that hopefully behind us, I hope the game is a good one and we see the youngsters getting gametime!

so is anyone interested in this match? I kinda am. It's something to watch when I get off work & to be honest I look at Chelsea for the entertainment. I am so lucky to be able to watch every match this club plays. That wasn't always the case for me. I had to read articles to get an idea of what the club was doing & to be honest I love this fact.

Yes but being level headed isn’t something everyone is gifted with unfortunately, for some who are very insecure they almost want someone to “misbehave” so they can give them a good telling off, especially online.

Donald trump got himself voted in is because in one hand you do have bigots that buy into his sh*t but actually a large percentage were not bigots however they were so sick of the ultra PC exadurated culture they went in the complete opposite direction.

 Quite rightly as you pointed out accusing people of being bigots for the slightest perceived infraction turns most people the other way, I told one of them to look up Bigot he didn’t manage, it’s actually the refusal to listen to opinions contrasting to yours,  which is ironically what these few little chaps are doing, being biggots while calling people bigots under the false conception that it means somone who is discriminatory. 

first Russian isn’t a race it was only relevant to point out who I was talking about without mentioning her name we have a Russian man hence woman, by not mentioning a persons name you show them disregard that was my intention, yet you have 2 or 3 buffoons absolutely trying their hardest to turn it into something it’s not.

You do that to people like myself who aren’t remotely bigoted it does what it did to thousands of moderates who ended up voting for trump, now that wouldn’t be me as I’m very secure in who I am and level headed but it does have that effect on a great many people.

Simple minded people are more interested in fulfilling their online hero complexes than actually doing any good, but what can you do, some don’t want to be educated they just want to be right even if they are miles off the mark.

We'll probably see a strong team for the first part or first half of the game since the club promised to play a strong team.  Then Sarri will give some time to the young and secondary players.

I don't think the Revs will be looking to prove anything.  They have their own problems as they are in the midst of their worst ever start to a season, and last week sacked both (separately) their coach and their General Manager (DoF/Technical Director equivalent).  

The squad has been out and about in public doing some work with kids in local schools, and the above linked story on the visit to the Holocaust memorial not far from the team hotel.

from the pictures & videos that I have seen coming for Bean-Town, it's been a very good showing by the club. Also it seems the lads are having fun, which is good for moral. Too bad they couldn't goto a NBA Playoff game & Da Bruins are on the road. Maybe the lads can catch a Saux game

That would have been fun, as those atmospheres would have been great.  Good time to enjoy sport in Boston.  The Sox & Patriots are reigning league champions, the Bruins are close.  We could have league champions in three of the four major sports all at the same time.  The Celtics blew a chance to join them.

It’s on at 01:10am Thursday morning UK time and the only way to watch it is via the club app. Probably not much interest here.

Be good to see Reece James get some minutes and see where Sarri plays him.
