April 13, 20224 yr Sigh from Media bashing us for climbing the mountain only to fall off the other side to today, and the media drum beating for the Liverpool quadruple vs City Treble.
April 13, 20224 yr Ideally, I would like the dippers to beat City on Saturday and then us beat them in the final to revenge the league cup. Don't like the idea of a team winning both the PL and CL, but I would take City winning both over the dippers winning either. Love the thought of them only ending up with the league cup after the w**k-fest over them this season (but I can't see Villa Real or RM beating them so it is down to City)!

Best case scenario: Atletico beat City, then Real, then Pool. City beat Pool in FA Cup, we beat City. City win the title and end up with the title only, Pool only league cup. Worst case Pool win all 4, second worst City win the CL and Pool the title.

No, I want to beat the dippers in FA Cup Final (and also think we have better chance than if we were to play City). As for CL, the team I least want to win it are the dippers. That said, equally don't want to see Simeone and his cheats lift the trophy with their anti-football. I guess RM winning it, I could stomach, but didn't like some of their antics last night and I can see City beating them in semi anyway.

I am enjoying Pep failing to win the CL with City so they are the ones I least want to win it. Far as today goes I am not waiting negativity trying to get those useless f*ckers Benfica to pull a rabbit out of the hat or Atletico to pull off an upset. Better chance of looking out the window and seeing a flying pig.
April 13, 20224 yr Yep, I don’t want Pep to win the CL, I don’t like him. And also so we can keep singing to the City fans “champions of Europe, you’ll never sing that”. I don’t think Atlético will get through, but if they were to, they are as owned by Real Madrid as we own the Spuds. I wouldn’t rule out Real Madrid, they are lucky in this competition and know how to play it, and Liverpool may think that Villarreal is easy, but they are a good side. If Madrid plays Pool in the final, I’d give Madrid more chances of winning the big ears.
April 13, 20224 yr Villareal will beat Liverpool let's be honest, liverpool is a one trick pony, they can only play one way. Villareal are tactically superb (i mean that they are very organised and always seem to come up with a good game plan to play a specific team) Edited April 13, 20224 yr by azpi28

April 13, 20224 yr The fact Pool can rest their star players in the CL quarter final shows how sh*t benfica are.

April 13, 20224 yr Villareal are a weird team. They never really look that good, but teams seem to struggle to beat them. United lost on pens in the Europa League final, we had to beat them on pens in the Super Cup and Bayern lost over two legs yesterday.

April 13, 20224 yr i'm just really tired of everyone praising man city and liverpool to the heavens so i'm just going to praise Villareal and Atletico
April 13, 20224 yr Pep having to sub De Bruyne is credit to Atletico's good work, they haven't looked dangerous at all city Edit: apparently he is injured Edited April 13, 20224 yr by azpi28

April 13, 20224 yr That should have been a penalty to Atletico Madrid. Edited April 13, 20224 yr by Scott Harris
