April 9, 20224 yr No matter what happens with Chelsea; no matter what happens… at least we can all go to sleep at night knowing that we’re nowhere near as bad as Manchester United Football Club; holy sh*t they have fallen off the mountain quicker than an apple fell on Newton’s head. Shambles.
April 9, 20224 yr Manchester united is a bizzare team. They have two att up top who want to roam everywhere they want. They spent 60 m on sancho and he barely got the ball.

April 9, 20224 yr I think Villa could at least get a draw. Everything is going Tottenham's way so far.
April 9, 20224 yr Villa should be ahead, they’re going to regret the clear chances they’ve missed. And spuds are sh*t.
April 9, 20224 yr The refereeing in this Villa Spurs game is horrendous. Romero getting away with countless bookable offenses. Dissent and diving everywhere and at least two horrible tackles not even booked. Laughable standard of officiating. Spurs hanging on by their fingernails btw
April 9, 20224 yr I just heard about another potential change to football could be on the way in the not too distant future. The Portuguese FA want to trial 60 minute games with the clock stopping every time play stops. I read that on average, the ball is in play for 60 minutes of a 90 minute game of football, so if they were to do this and stop the clock every time the ball isn't in play, a game of football should still be 90 minutes long.......but I don't think it will be that simple. There are going to be games where there aren't many stoppages at all, we could be in a situation where a half of football only takes a little over 30 minutes to complete. The likelihood of this happening increases because players will feel that they can no longer get away with time wasting, so they will just ditch the tactic altogether and just get on with the game. There are so many changes happening and being tested of late that I feel like it's only a matter of time before the sport losses credibility. VAR has done more damage than good, the Euro's feels bloated with too many poor teams, the changes to World Cup coming in 2026 look ridiculous. Can we just stop all of this nonsense now? it's starting to remind me of how Formula 1 changes it's rules every year, it's one of the main reasons why I don't like it anymore. Why can't we just accept that we have a great sport but one that will never be without a few flaws? we don't need to go to extreme lengths to "improve" it, especially when you run the risk of doing the complete opposite.

The world has little attention span these days and things always have to be new and exciting to keep people engaged. I see it in myself - stick something on the tv to watch and end up f**king about on my phone not paying attention!
April 9, 20224 yr Good to see Big Frank beat Utd though a fortunate deflection off the hapless Maguire. Think Frank will keep them up just though don't know how, perhaps a few more fluky goals as they are struggling to create good chances.
