Blimey, manyoo have paid 72m€ + 13m€ add ons. I hope Madrid included an add on to pay if ManU did not get relegated, just for the laughs.

It’s a great signing, age no issue as he’s a proper Madrid type athlete and will no doubt be going strong like Kroos & Modric. The ‘environment’ isn’t right there though, so who knows, United just lack so much depth in midfield to properly utilise him.

Casemiro is a really good player, but I am not sure he would have suited how we play and I don't think he suits ten Hag's style either. Strange signing for United, but at the same time, he's easily an upgrade on anything they currently have. If they were to sign De Jong as well (don't think it will happen) then they suddenly have a world class midfield.

Truth be told our midfield is just as bad as United's when one of Kante or Kovacic doesn't play. 

If Tuchel allegedly thinks this isn't an issue and sees no problem sticking Gallagher as a #6, then he's digging his own grave.
